dled motorizer, tha last motorhead album, worth a look but in my opinion inferior to inferno (which is to me one of the best metal lalbums ever) but good to listen to.

Rise Against are no one of my favorite bands, Tim the lead singer and Ryhtem Guitarist has an awesome voice.

I got them all bar one I think, I prefer the new stuff at the moment because there is not as much punk in it.
Still you cant judge albums off one listen

Revolutions Per Minute (the second one) is generally that record that everyone compares their other records to. It's a great record. Which album haven't you got? The Unraveling? The Unraveling is a great album but it takes a few listens to get used to the difference in style but it'll grow on you. Took me a few weeks to get into it.

Do yourself a favour Gregor and wear it, you'll look a lot cooler.

Transistor revolt I was unable to find, I'll be ordering that from ebay regardless, just to complete my Rise Against collection

Even I haven't got transistor revolt :P That was their old name and their first EP I think it's only got a few songs on it and I think a few are on The Unraveling. I could be wrong.

i have a huge metal collection but find alot of the bands on this discussion are sub-par at best imo but fair shouts. i cant be bothered to list particularly but www.last.fm/user/feyri has my main mixture although i mainly listen to electronic music in recent years

Well a couple of posts ago I did ask what people thought of Avenged Sevenfold but no-one replied!

Just keep your eyes peeled Ad, sometimes paying attention to the millions of flyers works :P. And, most good nights usually have events/groups on facebook these days...

avenged sevenfold? okay ill try not be mean, i have 3 albums, their first is the only one worth listening to, but unless your aged 10-15 (which you might be) or a emo girl. (not judging) i cant understand how you can have any affection for them?

Avenged Scavenfold are decent, Dragonforce suck because all there songs sound identical

dragonforce is okay because it's a pur epic baznd, even if they are a little bit too heavy on their( riffs, if they choosed the path of epic metal they should be lighter.
One that is not light when he starts doing good songs is blaze bayley, with his new album ''the men that would not die'' the few I've listen to it it seems a great band.

And stop talking about punk, this is a meal forum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rise Against have Metalcore in there music, well some of the older stuff does :)

always thought rise against were punk and saw em a while back and got that impression, then i heard a new song recently. defnitely not punk. lol. everyone should just worship coheed.

Lol not really. Some of it has some decent melody and riffs but I wouldn't go as far as saying metalcore.

according ti wiki melodic hardcore is the term lol

Graveworm are awesome, the lead singer Stefan Fiori just shreds his voice into peaces.

Anyone miss SOAD (system of a down) then have a look at SOB (Scars on Broadway) a side project that Daron Malakian has done while SOAD hare on hyhaituis.

There really good, sound very simular to SOAD but not as heavy, but it still sounds good.
