18.11.09 Solihull Moors 1 - 1 Blyth Spartans Taylor
James Taylor scores his 1st goal for Blyth as Solihull hold out for a draw. Blyth could have won today but could only struggle out a draw. On loan defender James Taylor eventually got his first goal for Blyth. He has had plenty of chances and today was his day. Blyth did go behind but that didnt last to long.


21.11.09 Blyth Spartans 1 - 0 Vauxhall Motors Alexander FA Trophy
Blyth Spartans are through to the next round of the cup after a 1-0 win over Vauxhall Motors. Striker John Alexander scored the only goal today which see's out Vauxhall out and Blyth into the next round.


28.11.09 Redditch 0 - 0 Blyth Spartans
Another game which Blyth should have won but only got 1 point. A really por game which no Blyth fans travelled to see. Only an attendece of 121 turned up which is really poor. Jason Sheehan made his debut for Blyth today aswell.

01.12.09 Blyth Spartans 6 - 0 Harrogate Turnbull, Correia2, McKenna2, Taylor
Blyth have hammered there visitors today. But fan favourite Robbie Dale got a straight red after 30 seconds which really didnt make the fans happy to start off with but they soon had a reason to smile as there team took a 4-0 half time lead. Fatastic day for Blyth's players and fans.


05.12.09 Stafford 3 - 1 Blyth Spartans Brackstone
Blyth lost today again which really changed the mood of the fans from last game. Another red card for a Blyth play saw Ashley Homes going to get an early bath. John Brackstone did mange to pull a goal back from a penelty but a bad day at the office for Blyth.


12.12.09 Blyth Spartans 3 - 1 Grays Correia2, McKenna
Blyth have beaten a team from a higher divison today in the FA Trophy as of Grays. Blyth looked like they enjoyed beating a bigger team then themselves and going into the next round. not the best crowd Croft Park has seen but still enough to see a good show.


19.12.09 Blyth Spartans 2 - 1 Stalybridge Correia2
Blyth have won again today with a good win over Stalybridge. They took the lead just after the hour mark and lost it but pulled it back just before full time which gave them all three points. The Spartans are victorious again :D


26.12.09 Workington 3 - 3 Blyth Spartans McKenna, Williams, Webster
A very good local derby it was today as boxng day game goes dwon a treat for the north of England. Workington missed two penelty's and Darren Craddock got red for Blyth has neither team could take all three points. Two teams will meet on New Years day at Croft Park. What a game that will be. :P


28.12.09 Blyth Spartans 2 - 1 Farsley Celtic Brackstone, O.G
Blyth wrap up 2009 with a vicotry as they go 2nd in the league ( Guesstimate ) :P. A big crowd turned up to see there team play and the won it for them with a penelty and an own goal. Blyth will be full of confidence going into 2010. :D :) Happy New Year !

Transfers​
Centre midfielder Ryan Scott has left the team to play for TNS. Blyth will recive 20k for him which will help the wages.

With the team lacking of strikers, Soulsby has brought in former Celtic player James Forrest for free.

Also another former Scottish player has joined Blyth. Striker Kane Hemmings will join Blyth after the Wimbledon game for being relseaed by Rangers in the summer.

A Norwegian Attcking player ha also join Blyth after being released by Rangers. He is called Thomas Kind Bendiksen and will be able to play for the trip to Wrexham.
