Two players have been released by Blyth as they didnt play often enough. Darren Craddock and John Brackstone were released by manager Michael Soulsby because he didnt want to see them just training and waste there carrers.

Also, Blyth were approch by Northern Ireland team Newry for manager Michael Soulsby. He staight away rejected the contract and continued the day as normal.

Not loads of games but didn't loss, fantastic! Into the semi final of the Senoir Cup. Can Blyth escape the relegation which poor performing Tamworth have just well for. Mansfield got a play off places gurantee.

The worst news as came today for people of Blyth has there team are offically been relegated from the Blue Square Premier.

They still have to look forward the Northumberland Senoir Cup final against Newcastle Reserves in May. It will be hosted at the Stadium of Light for some reason ??

Didnt really stand a chance as they put out a quality team and to add to the bad news, Fan favorite Robbie Dale has handed in a Transfer Request to leave in the summer. The Club are in money problems and it just doesnt look good for Blyth. :(​

Famousilly two years ago Blyth Spartans beat league team Shrewsbury and this year the same fixture has been drawn again and another chance for Blyth to show there fantastic form off.

Blyth beat Gateshead in the cup to continue in the cup which sets up a tie against Dover. Blyth are starting to gain a decent lead at the top of the league. They are propualy going to win the league unless something major happens soon. :D

Two new players have joined Blyth from the beggining from January. They are Sam Gwynne and Joe Maguire. Also at the end of the month a few players have been released from Blyth for money on wages is starting to bulid up.

Good month for Blyth with only 4 games but no games lost either. Blyth are safe to know that they are in the semi final of the Senoir Cup. It will be played at Northumbria's ground. Hopfully Blyth will have secured a play off position in the league . :D

Josh Gillies and Simon Todd have joined feeder club South Sheilds for the rest of the season on loan.

Well as the end of the season comes to a close, Blyth will be very happy to know that they have won the BSN title again which promotes them back into the BSP. The team and manager will be going out when they get back from Oxford to party on there success !
