For Kadlec? I'm not sure, I've never played him before, but I'd say no. It's best then if you change the Target Man back to support if you're reverting to the Poacher role.

used your tactic with Man City half way through season 2.

25 games:
Win: 20
draw: 2
lost: 3

I just plug and played. Taking into consideration I didn't even adjust anything, I think this tactic works really well.Thanks!

Going try it with mid table team (blackburn) and will give my feedback.

Glad it's working for you. Which version are you using, and who are you using left wing and left attacker?
 
If you ue a poacher change the target man to a tequartista. I cant use a target man as i haven't got any player that suits the role so i use a Complete forward on the right and a treq on the left. I use Verrati on the left wing as Advanced play maker, when the trequartsa drops into space you get nice 1-2-1-2 with the advanced playmaker. Verrati finished the season with 10 assist, smolarek (treq o choice) had 16 and 17 goals and Skrba my complete forward had 21 goals and 14 assist (although he ended the season in a goal drought he still managed 4 assist in the final 5 games and overall had a rating of 7.50 winning the english footballer of the year) Mike. I have observedthe tactic gives you more possesion against trong sides if you move back the right midfielder i did it because my wingers got injured and i had to use Konko as right defensive winger moving into channels... he scored two goals and had 2 assist in the last (and crucial) 4 games of my season (liverpool-arsenal-sunderland-man u). Sorry for the long post.

One question. Do you score from corners? in the whole season i had only 4 goals from corners and is frstrating i had 16 corners in a draw against wolves with no goals!

I'm using V2.0.

Left wings are: Adam Johnson, David Silva, Eugene Konoplyanka
Right wings are: Davide Lanzafame, james milner

Okay, cool :)

And I do score from corners but because I haven't used any 'bugs' nor have I made set positions for players, they don't come thick and fast. Koscielny gets about 5 a season for me.
 
It has now been 14 games into the season and Chelsea are keeping tabs on my records, it seems. Though I'm five points clear (see table below), they are banging in the goals at just over 3 per game while I've scored 40 in 14 (which is just short of 3p/g). This is interesting if you look at their current first team (again, see screenshot) as they have Milan Baros up front as a regular, Kevin Doyle as a sub, and Salomon Kalou on the left. Thankfully, I'm conceding less goals per game at this point compared to last season.


As for the tactic, I've made no changes whatsoever, which is what I wanted in the first place as it means I don't have to make any major changes.

Well, I've just lost my first league game in 42 matches, pretty brave I think, and this is using version 2 without any tweaks. Anyone else having unbeaten runs and high-scoring matches with version 2?

 
I have finished season three and I'm pretty happy with the tactic, the defence is still conceding a few goals more than I'd like but there definitely is improvement. As for attacking, it's very, very solid (check league table screenshot) and I'm really pleased.

So I'm leaving this at version two, if I get negative feedback I'll check it and improve it, but I won't be doing it anytime soon. :)

Mike, I am using your tactic but with some changes :) Fluid/Control better works for me because I concede less, especialy when I play away against stronger team.
Also, team creative freedom is normal, because I don't have players like Fabregas, Arshavin and etc. in Leverkusen or Fiorentina.
With pretty good Leverkusen squad (bought Hazard, Lukaku) I lost only twice in first 25 games, so thanks mate, you really helped me a lot with this :) Especialy because I played online with my friend (he took Werder) and I really kicked his *** :)

Near the end of season gone on bad run but need 15 points to qualify for champions league

goonergun435, I'm afraid the AI have finally found ways to counter the tactic, either that or my defence is getting poorer, so I'm looking to strengthen the back line. I've conceded 4 in 4 at the start of season 4.
