Monstrous 4-2-3-1 Plug & Play

haha I'm actually having great success with it being on Control. I'm dominating the **** out of teams.
 
SSJ Dennis, you are an experienced manager on fm-base, whats the issue?
what team are you playing?
how many transfers did you do?
did you alter anything?

I ask, becasue it works realy well for me, and i plug and play it mroe or less with small changes to disrupt AI catching on in the ocasional games.

If i need more midtfield controll i change AP to DLP
If im home playing a supereasy team i will OCASIONALLY change counter to attack.

Among that i follow AM's input sometimes if they make sense. AKA he tells me to close down Ronaldo becasue hes getting crosses in easy, that makes sense so i do it.
If he tells me i need to close down Downing i don't, becasue he dont have the pace and creativity to take on Shaw consistently throughout the match.

Guys, I've updated the tactic, tweaked passing/shooting settings for AML/AMR/STC positions.

I recommend use new settings because good amount of excessive overpassing has been removed and shooting settings has been set to optimal level BUT if you have player who has "Shoots From Distance" PPM then always add "Shoot Less Often" PI for him.
 
TTF tell me where's the sense of creating tactic which is similar to Sir Goalalot, but is a way worse, and uploading 10 or more updates? Waste of time for U and potential users. If someone has players to play 4-2-3-1 and he doesn't know which tactic choose - IMO this tactic is worse choice.

I'm not going to compare the two tactics, but just because somebody has created a successful 4-2-3-1 tactic, that means nobody else should create a tactic that uses that formation? No, that's just a stupid thing to say...
 
sir goal alot isn't successful compared to TTF's tactics

TTF's tactics are the best on the site after chicken and run

i'm yet to see a single save on sir goal alot that has a decent win % with a good GD without a 5 year in team or a cheater/database edit that's unrealistic

but TTF's tactics have constant good results with default squads and average teams
 
Tacticseeker, if you read Goalalot's tread i did realy well as WBA manager the first season.
Goalalot is very good tactic, and so is this one.
 
This new update (well V9 anyway) is a seriousss tactic. Had 18 wins in a row back end of the second season with Bilbao after plugging this in.


Goalalot's never worked for me, it's obviously a good tactic as it has 170odd pages or whatever but i've never had success anywhere with it.
 
I thought MCL was supposed to be set to AP, or maybe DLP for tricky games, but the screenshot on OP says its a CM. Is that correct? And if so why have you made this change?

The 1-nil loss to QPR at home was a fluke. They were battered all game. They had 1 shot, and it was a goal. I got FM'd big time. Other than that, very happy with this tactic at the moment.
