Puyol is an amazing defender hands down. Admittedly he does not come close to the likes of Beckenbaer or other all time greats but they where gods. He practically played Ronaldo out of the game in the CL semi final last year, which is no easy thing to do. Some of the other guys mentioned like Hulk and Pastore ARE that good IRL in the leagues they play in so in the game, when they move to a better league, they don't tend to struggle as much as they would IRL, same goes for the GK's mentioned and Albiol is mistake prone in my Real Madrid save.

Which world are you in?
They are made far better than they actually are. If these were their real abilities they would be the two best players in history, and they are nowhere near the top 20 or even 50 players in history.
CR7:
Determination: 19 - WTF? This is the player who cannot play in big games, and who can score 40 goals in a season against some amateurs but when he plays against real teams and the match i hard and his team concedes he just dissapears from the field. The same applies to Messi, who did not score a single goal for Argenitna in the WC. His job in Barca could be done just as good by a mediocre poacher.
CR7: Pace - 18/19; Acceleration 16, Agility 16 - How come? I wonder if overmars played today what would be his quickness attributes in comparison to CR7's ones. In order to be realistic they would have to be at least 25 each...
The long shots of the two players are also very far from reality, they should be somewhere around 13/14. I can't think of may Messi goals scored from more than 25m. The same applies to Ronaldo.
Messi's crossing is also not that good - it should be around 14.
Cristiano's free kicks deserve no more than 14. Else Juninho, Basler and Roberto Carlos should have had 23-25 on this attribute.

Messi and Ronaldo are probably the players who I hate the most because they are extremelly overrated my many so-called specialist, who compare them to players like Maradona, Basten and company which is very annoying because it has nothing to do with reality. They are also overrated in FM. And I agree with you that Messi is extremelly overrated. he didn't diserve to be best player for 2010 in real life either. they are far from being the best wingers in the past 15 years, let alone being one of the best players in history.

Lol at this. What exactly makes you think you can compare, let's say, Ronaldo's speed with Overmars'? Or compare Messi with Maradona? Have you seen themk play against each other? Did you even live when Maradona played??!!
I agree, they're overrated, I also hate them, I didn't see why people say player with good ability is much better than player that have good teamwork, in reality teamwork is better, we see in 2010 WC Germany 4-1 England and Germany 4-0 Argentina, that time I'm laughing at my friends because they're sure Germany will lose, Germany really underrated, it's why I love them (I love all underrated players and clubs)

Cristiano Ronaldo was on the outside and Overmars was on the inside and he used to strength to push Ronaldo away.
