If you click the link you will be presented with the post where the tactic is uploaded. Pretty simple. AS he has linked to that exact post, I assume its that tactic that has been used :D

Great tactic again W4nker. Do you think it is beneficial to play the wide strikers inverted or does it not matter ?

Regular (version) positions

Hi all,

I was just wondering if using this tactic in regular (non-classic version) what would be the roles of the 3 strikers up front?

Ty.

Trying tweak with England now. Early days but plenty of goals

forgive my stupidity but i am trying to the striker exploit. but with no luck :(

i have downloaded some tactics with the striker tweak already implemented then when i look at the player settings they are totally different from what is shown on the goals goals goals thread. have i missed something or am i being stupid??

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Monster Tactic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I was struggling in CL..Just destroyed Chelsea 7-1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Show the team instructions and personal settings for strikers and MCs please. Sorry for my English

I stumbled upon a tweak a few days ago that made me wonder if this was soley the reason why so many people had been having trouble making tactics and in defence when it comes to tactics.

What i found was that the Higher the Closing Down the better the defence seems to react and become. Now that sounds Stupid and it shouldn't work but it does, Incredible as it sounds i have tested it and it outcome is as plain as day to see.

When playing with defensive settings the team becomes poor, When playing attacking settings the team becomes better overall.

Those that follow my posts on the SI forums will already know this, Those that Don't here is what i Posted.

I have been tweaking my 'Mr Hough Rolls back the Years tactic' lately because i think it is no where near a strong enough tactic from me personally, I have a great Man Utd side and when you can't beat wolves you know there is a problem.

How i have approached this is that i have found that my tactic is too fluid, The defenders go too far forward and don't do there defensive duties, Also my Central defenders have been defending very poorly with the current settings also. Now what i have found in defensive methods is that the more you have the team closing down the better the team defends overall. Now that sounds silly but i have tried all sorts of different settings and i found it to be true.

Now i don't know why this is because you would think the complete opposite, The more defensive settings would create a more defensively sound tactic Right.....Wrong, I have tried this and it just simply does not work. Fullbacks Central Defenders Midfielders all back off and let the opposition run at them at will. With a more attacking setup though they defend stoutly and try and get the ball.

I have been thinking this might be the case for quite some time now and instead of trying my theory in games i have just stopped playing, Until this morning and i decided to try a more attacking defensive base.

Try it in the tactics you are playing with, Not the mentality just the closing down, See what it does to the tactic.

It's insane that the more higher closing down the better the defence, I have a tweaked tactic that i will upload for you to have a look at.

Mr Hough Back to His Best 4-1-2-3 Fm12.1.1 (Man Utd, Mar 2013).tac

That is the tactic i have been using and it has been nothing short of brilliant.

So there we have it, More less the Same tactic it's Still a 4-1-2-3 but so so much better.

Enjoy as always.

Its the exact same tactic as on your thread on SI games right? :P btw. i have a small question. Is it impossible to make a tactic using a AMC which is good? I'll try this tactic as i had some decent results with the "old" "rolls back the years"

Yeah it is exactly the same tactic i posted yesterday.

Nothing is impossible in FM, After all it's only a game.
