I don't think it's "absolutely" necessary, but it's a bonus. Just beware that since is thas 5 strikers, you must expect not pleasant surprises also :) If you want a "balanced" tactic, obviously a 5-striker one isn't your best choice :) That said, I have now started a personal save with Liverpool, will see how it goes :) Had a little random start, won 2-1 away vs man utd, lost 5-3 away to Crystal Palace, and won 2-0 away against Sunderland. Will anyway use it for the whole season to see where it ends up :) My players need to get better team cohesion between each other, then it will really blossom I think! :) That's what happened in my test.. A little random early on, but last half part of the season was incredible!

time for a new save this weekend i guess, to test that mad tactic, while running the other 2 on my Man utd. save
 
One thing that can **** up things for this tactic is having players with PPM's. In the test, no players have PPM's. A PPM will change the tactic, and like I said before, this tactic cannot be changed or it will be a disaster.
 
I see that many of the goals I concede is from counter attacks on corners. I'll make a V2 with better corner routines, both offensive and defensive corners.

The new one just doesn't work for me got whacked 6-1 by ajax with atletico

Yes that's true i think is good alternate this whit ur 3-4-3 for more funny, and i start new save whit Parma on Italy serie D so very lower league, but let my try this :O
 
You'll be hard pressed to find a team without PPM's, especially the forwards.

There are only 2 PPMs that make any difference for F9 it's "Gets Forward Whenever Possible", "Likes To Try To Beat Offside Trap" and other PPMs don't make any difference.

Just make sure that your strikers don't have it... that's all.
 
wow I tried the 3-2-5 on my Spurs saves and was totally brutalized by Chelsea and Arsenal (next 2 games), conceding more than 8 goals. The defense almost none exist, oh well back to 4411.

I have a friend using it with Spurs first season, and he is stomping everyone. This ME is very random :) This is why I remove much of the randomness in custom databases :P
