In off-season now and not sure what players to target, F9 or DLF. Been switching between your 4-1-1 and the predator v8/9 which isn't included in your newer tests, so really hard to pin it down
The 2-3-5 really won't work for me, any tips mr L?You can try
It's the best tactic I have come across for use in LLM. I'm having unbelievable success with it at Tranmere Rovers, managed to win the Vanarama National and am now top of League 2 the following season and 13 points clear in December.
I haven't tried the 3-4-3 but I'd guess it doesn't work too well in LLM because the roles it requires are not roles the players are good at.
I don't think the 4-1-4-1 is in the OP anymore, I'll post it when I get home later if you like.
How important are the wide midfielders and what would you say are the most important attributes?
I never seem to find any midfielder that suits that roll. Also, should the foot be inverted or not?
One of the wide midfielders get player of the year in every save i've tried it in so far, so they are VERY important Inverted foot is in my experience not a neccessity. I've used inside forward/winger types there, with high acceleration/pace/dribbling/passing/finishing. But I haven't tried much other types, so other types could be better ofc. I just haven't had the chance yet to try different types there
Thanks, do you happen to have an ideal example of a wide midfielder so I can have something to base my search on?
So tackling and positioning are basically unimportant despite it being part of the player filter for Wide midfielder?
that 3-2-5 has got to be the worst tactic I've used on here in quiet some time, currently 4-1 down to blackburn in the capital one cup with a full strength team, not even close to being a game breaker. ill keep going with it to see if it does pick up but never won 5-1 and then drew 3-3 and 4-4 its a liability defensively.
