Mr Langvatn FM16 Tactic Center

I may also have a defensive tweak for the 3-4-3, but require more testing before I can release a v2

TFF Crusher

Hello Mr Langvath,

Very impressive work with your tactics and testing!!! Do you mind testing the new tactic released by TFF im really curious about competition between 3-43 Heavy Metal and Crusher.

I'm testing TFF's last tatic! :)

3-4-3 Heavy Metal v2

As promised, here comes the v2 of the 3-4-3 Heavy Metal tactic. The changes are:

- Different corner routines, both defensive and attacking
- Defense now has different roles
- Turned off off-side trap to fit the new defense system

NB! The new attacking corner routines don't necessarily give more corner goals. It is made to stop ourselves from being countered after a corner, as this was one of the main defensive problems of the tactic.

With the super-attacking tactics like the 3-2-5 and the 3-4-3, you CAN lose big if very bad luck one match (rolling dices), but all in all, over a season, they give the most goals and the best GD. If you want something stable in the BACK, go with the 4-4-2 Heavy Metal. My personal favourite is the 3-4-3. I've never ever seen such numbers as Dannylfc posted above though.. With Bodø Glimt in CL the first year, I conceded 2 goals aggregate vs Roma, 1 goal aggregate vs Tottenham, 1 goal aggregate vs Fenerbache...

that 3-2-5, leicester, couple of new signings, not a bad team, destroyed in most games against the big teams but win big every now and then, just been beat 1-2 at home to palace so turned it off, full fluidity, very very poor. Very surprised with the "Gamebreaker" tag its been given despite the tactic being incredibly bad.

ill give the heavy metal one a go, but honestly, unless I'm doing something horrifically wrong, its a very poor tactic, but occasionally blitz worse opponents, very unstable and certainly not a game breaker, not sure why its been branded as one if I'm honest.

The tactic went through a FULL season in the test save. It performed among the top tactics. You can ask the other testers in my team. I sent them a screenshot every match, so they could see the domination over everyone. The tactic is NOT "incredibly bad". The ME is "incredibly random"... Which is why I test tactics in a custom database, to avoid the randomness as much as I can.

appreciate the attempt to save face, but yes your right, the ME is random, but not 8-1 random... why test in a custom data base when 99% of people who play FM will play with the traditional data bases ? not a realistic test environment is it really? anyway i appreciate your work i think i used most of your tactics last year and had a whale of a time, Ill try heavy metal and go from before the liverpool game and see what it does from there, my only issue was with it being called a game breaker, the real game breaker was back in FM 12, that was a real game breaker.

In FM12, every top tactic were exploit tactics. Same with FM15.... Attempt to save face? How? I am one of the most experienced tactic testers in this forum, I know what I'm doing. Anyway, try another tactic if that one doesn't work for you. I have never, and none of my friends either, experienced such bad results as you are talking about.

Also, the custom database IS SET IN A REAL GAME ENVIROMENT. Haven't you seen all the screenshots from the test team? It's in the Premier League... The team consists of REAL players FROM the Premier League. There is nothing unrealistic about it. The parameters I have set you can read at the front page (which I highly doubt you have done).

Tell me which of these parameters you think is bad for testing accuracy:

- Removing PPM's
- Setting all players' injury proneness to 1
- Setting all players' consistency to 20
- Using FMRTE to set the tactics to 100% fluid
- Removing the test team's "favourite formations"
- Setting all players' dirtyness to 1

Just some examples...

Please tell me how I try to save face...

Langvatn, from all of these, which is the better to keep a 0-1 result against Arsenal in the last 10 minutes.

When i say Arsenal, i mean City, Bayern, etc.

Thanks for all of this tactics, much appreciated.

I think the 4-4-2 Heavy Metal is very good in defense, same with the 5-3-2. I will also try to make a 4-1-4-1 soon, from the 4-4-2 heavy metal base.

to be fairly honest mate its a game on a computer, you put the tactic up for feedback, you get good and bad feedback, but just remember, its a computer game....

I really don't understand how that comment is of any relation to anything that has been said :) Yes, I get good and bad feedback, I got bad feedback from a small number of people in FM13 too. But most of the feedback, over 90% I'd say, is positive. That is the reason I keep posting my work. That it's a computer game I'm very aware of, that is why I make all tactics in a "trial and error" manner rather than applying real football logics to them. I'm not sure what you meant by that :)

negative feedback without picture or saved game files is "trolling"
my bad possession in FM15 got these trolling alot, they stop posting after i ask picture
i can troll every tactic if i want ...all i do is just make new account and type, right?

note: too bad i have life, i dont sit in front pc 20 hour a day

yeah, dont troll the tact, it might not have work for u but it worked for others. others that just come in, picks a tact and when it doesnt work they trolled it. they dont even know how much time is put into it, the testing on all. Pretty sad, i hope they will grow a conscience.
give a constructive feedback and and suggest what can be done to better it so that the next person that might have the same problem will benefit from it. thats the way to go.
