Edit: Doesn't seem like I can bring up the heat map now after all matches are played. Do you know where I can find it?

ahh it dosnt matter if you cant do it. but i think you got to mach stats or something and click on heat maps. if anyone is using this tactic please post a ss of a heatmap.thanks
 
Hi Mr L - first of all, big congrats on the 3-4-3 v3 some nice football being played!

I just wonder if all strikers need to be F9 or can any be altered to bring a more direct play as I've never really been a huge fan of F9 strikers.

You don't need to use typical f9 strikers in it, but the role needs to be f9 to work. I've tried every other 3-striker setup, and nothing but 3x f9 works (well) in this patch.
 
I see what you mean - ME this time round frustrating me at times.

I have however changed one of the F9 roles to AMC with Advanced Playmaker role and it seems to be working wonders:

I m wondering how you try your tactic ? Do you go on hollidays and let your assistant play for you during the whole season or do you play every match yourself ?
I m asking you because i would like to test many different tactics by simutating the game.

Also added 'Move into Channels' on the Advanced Playmaker as well as the other instructions.

Absolutely hammering teams 5-0 (I know I am Boca but still..) - feel the AMC role contributes to a better build up play and more secure defending, whilst the AMC still runs in behind the defence when in possesion and plays one-two's with the two F9s who are now narrower as a pair.

All in all, love it. If you have an AMC who would fit this role I'd seriously recommend tweaking to fit it in - otherwise go 3 F9's!

You cannot go on holiday when testing tactics, as the tactics aren't played as they should be then. In addition, when you do that, your assistant manager makes changes during the matches...

You need to use the button "under" instant result, which is called "simulate match". Don't use any match plan. This will play the match as if you watched it yourself. The only negative aspect is that you won't have the option to make changes if you get a red card.

Will give it a go then for Bristol Rovers
 
Good luck mate - just move F9 to AMC and use Advanced Playmaker role. Then individual player instructions as:

- Pass it shorter
- Move in to channels
- Get further forward
- Mark tighter
- Roam from positions

Everything else exactly the same :) I'm also switching to counter if I'm in the lead at 75+ mins to play it safe, but usually end up scoring another anyway!

Will you tweek the 4231 Mr L or is that one forgotten? Love the setup but it's a bit unstable.

I can apply the set piece tweaks (throw-ins, free-kicks and corner), and you can probably just use the OI's as they are. But more than that I can't tweak for any other than the 3 CD tactics.
 
I know this is true with most tactics, but anybody just getting hammered by lesser clubs in the preseason?
 
Sorry if this has been asked before but do you use the new OI's for the 442 heavy metal too or just the 343? Really like the 442, tempted to use home and away.
