Mr Langvatn FM16 Tactic Center

I use the 343 Heavy mental v3 with defending training and your OI. I start use this tactic against Angers and I have very good results. I become champion easily. (media prediction 7)
Thanks, for the moment it is the best tactic I used.

Hello,

Just started looking in this topic and want to try 3-4-3 Heavy Metal V3.

But there isn't much info in the openings post and I don't want to read the whole topic before starting.

Who takes corners?

Is the ML left footed and the MR right footed?

Thanks

Mr laungvath,
does it work with underdog teams?
with granada or stoke city or sparta rotterdam (dutch league )?

so Mr Langvatn are u gonna help us with bayern tactic?:D

After TFF completely bummed me out by changing his tactics to fast i got stuck with a squad less than optimal to not run with DM's aswell as strikers not perfectly suited to his formation so waht i did was i Did a "longwater special".

Loaded the 3-4-3, 4-4-2 and the 4-4-1-1 into my slots and altered depending on 1.Who needed rest/playtime and 2.Assistant feedback pre match.

Outstanding resoults!

Cant wait for this years CL to start, i real think that with some luck i can maybe reach the quarterfinal, becauuse this is just simply amazing! (hope i dont draw bayern or juventus or sutch...)

Is it just me or does the v2 and v3 of 3-4-3 heavy metal give you less possession? Im not sure myself as Im trying them out with Barcelona but so far they havent given me as high possession ratings as the first version did when I used it with Spurs.

Maybe its just a matter of the team getting to know the tactic (its accomplished right now) but then again, Barcelona is a lot better than Spurs so the possession should really be higher than around 50% even when its only "accomplished".

The only differences between v1/v2 and v3 are:

-Set pieces
-Defensive setup on the 3 CD's

Nothing to do with possession :)

so Mr Langvatn are u gonna help us with bayern tactic?:D

I'm sorry I haven't had much time the last few days, busy getting my students ready for the exam! I think I will have more time on my hands in a couple of days :)

Regarding ML and MR, it's a bonus with inverted foot, but what's more important is the player's marking skill, in addition to offensive. Retrained CM's are usually quite good here, since they are basically CM's just sitting a little wider. Corners: The best taker of the guys who "stay back if needed" (check routine).

Yes, I believe so. What you could do is to plug in both the 3-4-3 Heavy Metal v3 and the 4-4-2 Heavy Metal v2, and then use the 4-4-2 for the hardest matches. But the 3-4-3 v3 does really well as underdog too, considering it's formation.

Mr L.,
Thanks for your great tactic work! I have a Q about the 343HMv3: The Def. Midfielders, which type is best sweeted: the defending type, or more the real CM type? Say: more the Heitinga type or the Serero or Klaassen type?

Great results !

How do you chose your tactic depending on your assistant's feedback ? I guess he doesn't tell you to use a 3-4-3 (mine often recommends 4-4-2 for example) so in which case do you chose this one and not another ?

I look at what they are vounerable to. if they are vounerable to 4-4-2 i go with the 4-4-1-1 or the 4-4-2 (the last one normaly away). Then i look at tempo aswell as waht players i have in form/need a game etc. Its all variables, and i dont win all games by outplaying the opponent a lot. I normaly win by makign good decissions and half time talks, altho i find it impossible to dominate a 2nd half if u dominate the first regardless of what talk i do. Aka if im 4-0 up i will win 4-0 or 4-1 or 4-2 and only if lucky i put another goal.

Anyone else finding a tactic becomes significantly less effective in the next season? I'm in my 3rd season now and have used very different tactics each season as my previous has become completely ineffective.

it's just me, or every single game I have lot more of chances but my strikers never ever score??? Every game, no matter if I change them.

Mr L.
pre-season genel training and match pre. ?

Match prep = tactics only (also remember to put the tactic into all three tactic slots)

Pre-season team training up to you. I don't really care much about that stuff, as I rarely play the game itself :) I mean, doing a personal long-term save.
