Sadly, the match engine got updated at a quite bad timing for us. Both me and Luigi are writing our master thesis, and won't have any time for the site for 1 month+. Hopefully Francesco and Lucio will have some time :)

It would be great to see at least the best 25 tactics re-tested again to be able to compare the results. Anyway I am expecting performance INCREASE this time...haha

It is not possible yet anyway, because we rely on FM Fitness Coach, and it has not been updated yet for the newest patch :)

It's a bit annoying, that ME updates isn't mentioned in the patch notes - what is the company afraid of? that the tactic creators beats the ME too fast? Usual that takes less than a week anyways xD

according to SI matche engine is exactly the same as 17.2 and from brief game experience this seems absolutely correct - near post crosses are king, three man defence rules and throw-ins in attacking area are way deadlier than penalties. No need to re-test tactics already tested imho.

So suggest me a throwin setpiece design pls

Agreed, but still over the last years we have seen tactics and concepts doing less great after patches where SI didn't mention any ME changes, but the best way to figure out if any tactic at all is affected is by playing the game, and that solution suits me perfect (H)

I don't have one really, I score and concede regularly from unstoppable patterns after an offensive throw in, mostly 1) throw-in, pass back to the taker, cross and goal; or 2) throw in, a couple of lateral passes to the edge of the area then a long shot or a pass inside the box and goal. Absolutely not rewarding when I score and very frustrating when I concede, happens a lot in my games both for and against.

seriously mate read the patch notes and then you will answer your own question
Seriously check ME version and stop thinking that you cleverer.
Tactics changed in 17.3, someone more someone less

Yes, the ME number has changed but have you bothered to find out what changes between m.e.1703 and m.e.1704?

It might shed some light - https://community.sigames.com/topic...cial-feedback-thread/?page=3#comment-10701480
SI added update in winter for 100+ mb and wrote just couple words in description. I see that tactics changed , this is fact.
By the way, Knap from SI forum also tested his tactics and confirm changes in ME
Korean mates already create 17.3 tactics and updates for currents too.

so can you please tell everyone what are the changes in the the ME? where is list of changes?
