Mr Langvatn's Tactic Thread (Updated for 13.3.3)

i wanna try one of the newer tactics, but rock is working so well for me, and i dont wanna risk messing it up :P

Wow. I must say, this 3-5-2 version looks very solid in the back! :) A bit shy on the offensive side though :P Maybe gonna do some changes to it and start over :)
Will you share this tactic? It looks very impressive.

If you have a top team now, it's safe to go with the 2-5-3 I think. Otherwise, you can always start a different save to try :)

Goodluck with it MR L, I hope it does well in your tests, I really love the 3 at the back formations, so hoping this does well :)

No 50 points no post?? Bit harsh considering the quality of the rock classic. Please share

Great thread bro. I think the main striker didn't strike too many goals. You probably can fix it. However your all tactic's are really, really great. ;-)

The beauty of the rock is that if the striker is not firing then the mids score the goals and when the mids are off form, the striker scores the goals and when both are struggling then the wingers and centre back chip in. It doesn't rely on one player, that is why it works so well. My striker scored 37 goals in 40 games in my current season with Wrexham, he also got 13 assists, but first half of the season he only scored 11 in 20 games, but my centre mids scored 20 between them! Also, if the striker doesn't score he is usually setting up goals.

This may sound strange, but I have found that if you play strong defensive midfielders in centre midfield they actually score more goals than if you play attacking midfielders! When I tried this tactic with WBA, Malumbu actually scored nearly double the amount that Brunt did playing centre mid.

I noticed the same result when I had a DM in MC pos he scored loads. I had crisetig playing there

i tried this to, and its true, the DM do score more than AM but the best players i found were B2B type players, they were getting a goal a game and 7.5+ ratings every game.

best players i found for the position was a partnership of

will hughes - adam mayer

they were insane, set there training to box to box midfielder, they were incredible

With the rock classic tactic I won the BPL FA CUP And Champions League all in the 4th season. Magnificent treble. However now I am the champion first season defending the title I finished 15th? WTF? Any suggestions? And why do my strikers struggle to score goals?

First season: 6th
Secound season: 7th
Third Season: 3rd
Fourth Season: 1st - Fa Cup - Champions league
5th Season: 15th - Charity Shield

So i started playing fm13 with dortmund as always, and didnt do quite well, lost the bundesliga, and only got till the quarts in champions, and i lose very often to sub par teams, then i downloaded classic rock, and now i literraly won everything, 35 games undeafeated, great tactic, thx a lot!

Also, does this tactics works with llm teams? 3 division or so?

Freaking insane..... First season Liverpool.. This **** is even more solid than the rock (the one i'm working on now)
