Mr Langvatn's Tactic Thread (Updated for 13.3.3)

Are the classic tactics corn fixed too? or just the TC version
 
Oh, and what training do you put yours midfielders in rock classic? Center Midfild? box-to-box? Thank you

True that, unless you really are a heavy favourite away too. Like I stated before, the 4-2-3-1 is NOT stable like the other tactics, it's purely there for high scoring when your team is godly.

Is this tactic can not be for every tactic. You are one hundred percent right it is not stable. Even when I'm very heavy favourite I've lost in away or home. I really couldn't believe.

It's because of the formation, like I said before. High scoring, but not stable. It's defo worth using after several seasons when you have a godly team though :)
 
So I'm going to play Arsenal which off your tactics would suit them best. And which one should I use when I'm playing a away from home against teams like stoke Everton etc who are going to park the bus against me and which one should I use against the the big teams like man city united etc

Maybe 3-6-1 away against the big teams, and 2-5-3 the rest. Throw in the rock as well, just in case :)

Hmm i would say: At home 4231 (as in real life) and away the rock classick :)

If I knew this would happen, I wouldn't insist on 4-2-3-1. :D I will take Barcelona due to this tactic.:) Out of them I didn't see your 4-1-3-2 Gung Ho. Actually you can update this tactic with new corner tweak and maybe you can convert a mc to amc so it can be fantastic. Like The Legend Ac Milan's tactic.
 
Hi, Mr L. Using Rock Classic. Do you think a weak midfielder (strenght less than 10) can perform well in this tactic? i think my team performs better when the mids are strong...Thanks in advance.

I use a variation of a few ideasideas iveI've found on the forum:

At the start of every game I use my assistant manager
At half time I react myself dependant on the score
Also at half time dependant on the players reactions I tell the respective area I.e. defender's/midfielders/forwards,calmly that "I have faith"
At full time I react myself dependant on the score

4-1-4-1 rock is not good enough for me. OK...first 4 matches were great, scored 10 and conceded zero. But then torino beat me 2:0 with 4 CCC.

so you test it for 5 games and just cos you lose you say its **** wow you need to give it more time its 1 of the best tac i have ever played with just give it time

i am not saying, that is **** tactic...when i say that?

And this was after 15 matches...i meant first 4 season matches.

Strong players are better in all positions, due to collision detection strength is a powerful attribute in this years FM.
 
On the main page there are now a number of things for training,

What do you recommend for training if using rock as main tactic?
