Which one is the best, 2-5-3 DDMC Angels or Angels V2? And what are the differences between them?

V2 is the better one. (This is why I have recommended it on the front page) Difference is that the strikers score more.
 
3rd season as Barnet, 3rd season playing the Rock formation.

This time started in npower championship and again media prediction 24th, end of season champions!!!

Now in the premiership - lets hope they give me more than 60k a week for wages for the team, and build a bigger stadium because i dont think 5000 is cut out for premiership football!!!

This is going to sound a really really really stupid question to most of you but ive spent quite literally ages reading this great thread but one things thats confusing me.

Everyone seems to be talking (mostly) as if a majority of these tactics are for normal mode but most the tactics for download include the word CLASSIC in them. Are they for Classic mode or not.

Like one poster asked earlier back on page 2 or 3, "is the rock classic for normal mode" which got a reply of "yes, thats what Id recommend it for but I had to make a classic one to for users of classic mode" (not a direct quote but roughly it from memory).

Ive really struggled with this edition of FM tactics wise which I never have before. Just seems every patch you have to make a new tactics :(
 
A classic tactic is the use of sliders, the old way of creating tactics before the tactic creator (TC) and they can't be used on FM Classic (the game mode). Only TC tactics can be used in FM Classic.
 
in short, im assuming any tactic with the word 'classic' in it is for use on classic mode only? or is it simply just part of the name (rock classic for example) and can be used on either normal or classic mode.

Simply because I dont play classic mode at all.
 
Yeah, they nerf the tactics doing too good every patch, so gotta make new ones. About the classic question. Classic tactics are tactics that are made the classic way, like in old FM/CM. They are not made in the tactic creator, and they do not work in FM classic mode.

So, classic tactics are only for the full-mode of FM.

sorry I struggled to word my post how I hoped lol.

For example the 'Rock Classic' can be used in normal mode. Apologies if this sounds awfully blonde! Just some of the wording in some posts has put doubt in my mind that what I though was incorrect.

Many thanks for the great thread and prompt replies :) been a member of this site for years but only started visiting again recently.

So basically your highly recommended 'Rock Classic' is usable within normal mode as the screen shots suggest. I dont play classic mode and reading this thread I feel like my prayers have been answered! Been really stuck with tactics since latest patch. Not looking for plug n play but at the same time im not looking for tactics I see on other sites that involve waaaaay to indepth shouts, tweeks, etc... as like yourself im a father of a 1 year old boy and booooy does that eat into my FM13 time! lol
 
For the corner tactics, does putting a preferred corner taker affect how well it works? Should you choose takers?

The good thing about FM though, is that I it's possible to combine with parent-life :) Can afk from it whenever I need etc. Not many other games I can play really.
 
i managed to bring QPR to champions league playoff using 3-6-1 sicillian defense in the first season.in the 2nd season lost to cska moscow in the playoff and entered the euro league.currently sitting 1st in the epl.i managed to bring the legendary facundo feyrerra in my club.i suggest to buy sergi gomez and kiko femenia in 1st season to match this tactic.the training i used is balanced and att movement.individual training as suggested in the forum.thanx a lot for this tactic =)

So true! Im 28 now so I wouldnt consider myself over the hill but my days of playing COD, Fifa & PS3 are well and truly over except an odd graveyard shift appearance lol!

Sorry to be a pain, but do you have a link to a help thread for your tactics. Like you say most people dont remember that its 50% about the tactic, and the rest is down to you the player to get the right players that fit the system etc...just wondered what kind of players for each role etc...and training. 200+ pages is a **** of a read. Still working through it. Keep up the great work. Look forward to testing it!
