Continue using the 4-1-4-1. They will get used to it. It's the best tactic on FM13 this year, without a doubt.
 
Find the 4-1-4-1 Rock doesnt create much, constantly drawing 0.0. Liverpool default squad

It creates a lot of chances actually. You can see that from both my results, and from the numerous players that have uploaded their results on this thread. Is it 100% fluid in all areas? Have you tried it for a whole season or just some games? Remember that RNG is a huge factor in this game.
 
Rock creates chances, though most of my teams efforts are from outside the box. I find it better defensively than going forward.

I am an admirer of all your tactics but not sure you can say its the best tactic on FM13 without doubt.

What is RNG ???

I'm giving up with FM 2013. Rock 4-1-4-1 doesn't work at all in top clubs even. PSG , middle season , come back form 3months holiday -> I'm eleventh , smashed form Juve in CL on away about 0-4 , smashed from strong teams from Ligue 1 - Rennes, Montepellier, Lyon. This is the best fm-tactic forum in the Internet (I didn't check slant-eyed sites using translator), but all fm2013 tacs are completly suck, results screens which people upload is ridiculous, if tactic seems to be good even, after a few matches all results going to ****. FM2012 and 13 especially, have sucked engine. There was very good tactics before on predecessor FM2012/13 : MrHough, DEVASTO - from TATOX, DIABOLO (even Raikan's Might&Magic on FM2012 gave the trick) but currently all fm2013 tacs is heavy clown. There is no even one tactic where you take PSG, Arsenal, Juvnetus for example, hire best training stuff - assistant with motivating capacity about 18-20, and I have no-joking results after come back from holiday. Anybody know sometihing about Mr.Hough , is he making some new production on fm2013 :D ?

If most people have good results with many tactics, and you don't, maybe the problem is not the tactic ?
 
I recommend people doubting the 4-1-4-1 Rock to scroll through some pages of this thread. Pastinho, you say that the 4-1-4-1 Rock doesn't work with top teams. I had 70 goals scored and 2 conceded with my fresh FC Bayern save. A LOT of ppl posted their results from this tactic too, with immense results. Sorry to say, but if this tactic isn't working for you with a top team, it's not the tactic that's the problem.

When you go on holiday your AM uses his own formation/tactics etcetera , why bother playing the game if your just going to holiday the whole season?..

WTF :P Why would you go on holiday? You know that the team isn't playing the tactic at all in holiday mode right? The problem here is that you expect a tactic to win everything for you while you do nothing. That won't happen in FM13. And yeah, I'm talking to Mr Hough daily, and tried all his work so far. He is a great tactician, but you cannot expect to win on holiday mode with his either. And there are several ppl who uploaded screenshots with immense Juventus results on my thread. I'm sorry to say, but the problem here is you :)

Wtf :P It's always been there since the first CM game. It's all about rolling dices. Everything. If a player has 20 jumping and another one has 15, the one with 15 can still jump higher than the one with 20, if he rolls good enough. Same counts for absolutely every stat in the game.
 
Mr Langvatn but the mentality of the 4-1-4-1 must be extreme offensive or not?
