Mr Langvatn's Tactic Thread (Updated for 13.3.3)

Mr L, what individual training do you use ? can you recommend atributes for wich position?
 
Tactic is great. Finished 2nd with Everton in the first season with such a small squad and no Fellaini for three quarters of it. He was out with a back Injury for half and then picked up tonnes of red cards and three game bans. The midfielders are soooo vital for this tactic as they need to be able to control the midfield aswell as go and score plenty of goals. Darron Gibson fits this role so perfectly believe it or not. I made no signings other than a cash + exchange Tony Hibbert for Nathan Dyer as i was short of wingers. Tottenham ran away with the league as they always do and i did drop some silly points but overall a fantastic tactic! Great too see a formation other than 4231 working good too!
 
This game doesnt half **** me off, thought id suddenly turned a corner yesterday in my Liverpool save View attachment 347814 also managed 2 wins and a draw against Spurs, City and Chelsea then my laptop crashes load up at my last auto save and then this happens View attachment 347815 ******* joke, also receiving to red cards in the 3 fixtures ive played so far and getting fined from the league.

The RNG is quite a big factor in the game yeah
 
So hard to manage Liverpool first season with the 4-1-4-1 Rock as they have **** players for the positions and no money. Season is a complete waste, 2 big injurys to Johnson and Gerrard. Going to holiday the rest of the season without hopefully getting the sack and then start a fresh with the longest pre season possible and hopefully a transfer kitty. Looking at my screen ive been sacked, haha il just add myself to Liverpool again

Keep plugging away, Leeds have some awful players first season, yet I got 114 points in the league, 2-3 signings and Liverpool would be great, just have a think about the players they are lacking. I would imagine Gerrard would be fantastic in the CM position in this tactic...

Yeah i think il try and ship out Borini or Sturridge, i need 2 wingers, the wingers i have are good enough for back up but not starting XI. I need some back up for Lucas in the DM role and some competition for Henderson and Shelvey in the MC role to play alongside Gerrard. Yes he is immense in this role just a shame he is 32 although before my game crashing this season id say he was on course to have his best season at Liverpool. so hopefully get a few seasons out of him, i always seem to go for Will Hughes to replace him, very consistant and very alike, cheap and also a Liverpool fan... Bonus
 
Rock 4141 is in my opinion the best tactic for any team - top middle bottom.

I have my own 442 that I use at home when managing really big teams but for anyone else home or away I highly recommend Rock

FB - Full Back
DC - Centre Back (Ball Playing centre back if top 4 team)
DM - Centre Midfielder
MC - Centre Midfielder
MR - Winger
ML - Winger
ST - Poacher

You should sell Johnson for 22m pounds. Then you have money to get what you need. Chelsea always buy him for that if you offer him to clubs and transfer list for 22m right at the start of the game before pushing continue.

Lucas is also extremely good as a DLP.
 
This doesn't work on my Real Madrid save. The first XI is one of the best sides I've ever assembled but 4141 rock just does not create many chances and when it does they are mostly shots from outside the box. Weird how so many others have had great success.
