I saw that it says to use a speech made by the team assistant coach, but how do you do?
you check in staff responsibilities or you wait for the pre-game speech to let the assistant coach to speak?
There is a big difference between the two methods?

I just set him to do the job in staff responsibilities. I don't think there is a difference.
 
The 4-1-4-1 Rock it's amazing. Just finished the 1st season with SCP (POR) and won the three domestic trophies; just lose one game. Best attack and defense. Superb!!
 
well scrap the 7-1 i posted my pc just crashed and load fm back up and i have to play the game again dame

EDIT: can anybody tell me the difference between 4141 rock and 4141 AF rock??
And which one is better? Thx.

It's the same tactic with two different striker roles. Just had to change some other stuff when changing to AF. But the poacher version is the best one I think (The original)
 
I am playing with middlesbrough in the prem. I finished 6th last season using the 4-4-2 gung ho home and away. This season failing miserably with the 4-1-4-1 rock. The tactic is at 100% fluid and training is set as recommended. Assist manager does team talks and individual talks. I really want to get the 4-1-4-1 rock tactic to work but I also am not creating chances either home or away. I also concede too many goals away from home with the rock, average 2 per game. I just dont seem to be having the same great experience like so many others. As a result i am now using the 4-4-2 at home instead which is pretty reliable but usually only score 1 or 2 goals. I have followed every post in this thread but really need some help. What am i doing so wrong?

hello, can anyone say which PPMs are important for the 4141 rock tactic?
 
I too seem to be struggling with the 4-1-4-1 Rock on FMC in 2028 with Arsenal and not getting the success that most seem to be getting. Obviously, it's 2028 so there's lots of variables, but the players in the Arsenal team are pretty good, although some are new transfer in so they may be needing time to adjust. I'm currently P6 W3 D1 L2, but the loses have been 5-1 and 5-0. I'll keep testing it but at this rate it isn't going to be too long before I'm sacked.

Any advice?

Sounds like I'm moaning about the tactic - I'm not - I appreciate it. It's annoying because my own tactics were working a treat before 13.3.3 and now I'm so inconsistent it's going to cost me my job!

Only the one 'Tomkins' who is worth 11.5m and is an England international. He is my top average rating. Any of your other tactics worth trying away from home or any other advice to get the rock tactic working. By the way most of my goals using either the 442 or 4141 are coming from set pieces. Really struggling with attacking movement. Is it worth changing prematch training to attacking movement instead of def positioning? Thanks in advance.
 
this look promising ill test it with Torino any suggestions? ill try 4-1-4-1 rock : )
