I thought this on my Liverpool save. It wasnt until early December i noticed a big difference until my game crashed.

As with all tactics, it needs time to settle in. How many matches have you tried it?

Im 22 games into a league season. The last 5-7 games I have hardly created any chances. Things are worse after the tactic has become fluid, which was after 3 or 4 games of the season. There are six world class players in the starting line up and the other five are monsters in their respected positions. It is a weird one.

And the tactic is fully fluid right? And you're running defensive positioning and balanced training? And it's the 4-1-4-1 Rock ur using?

The tactic is fluid for everything and yes my training is balanced average and def positioning on 60%. Some matches the 90 mins is up without either side creating a decent chance.

That is just weird. I'm always dominating with the tac. On my Bayern save I got 70 goals scored in 20 matches, and 2 goals conceded. It defo works for top teams. Tried with Juve too. + the numerous other players who have tested it with top teams. So weird it doesn't work with your Real, as it is proven to work very well in Spain too.

push wingers on attacking wingers position, and make them run into channels instead of hugging the line, that way they tend to drag defenders out of position . you may see some improvements, especially from the 2 MCs.
 
Two games back two wins BUT created 5 chances in both games with 3 and 2 on target.

Try doing your own team-talk's, may help
 
I have also some issues as regards creating chances. I manage AEK Athens at 2020. My team is one of the top teams in Europe now and in my league I far ahead from the other domestic clubs. This is the problem...every time in greek league plays me like 11 inside their box and it's difficult to score...

In champions league I have more score attempts still not many CCC though.

I can't ignore all the positive feedback about this tactic although it's annoying not to create many chances!

Maybe some tweaks are needed to make this solid tactic a little more creative!! Thanks anyway keep up the good work!!!

Remember that the main focus of the rock tactic is the defense, hence the name of the tactic. It's supposed to stop the opponents from having any chances and still make a few chances for your team. It's not super strong offensively. But it gives a lot of stable results, 2-0, 1-0 etc. Some times this will results in some 0-0 matches too. Maybe I will try to do some more work on it to make it better attacking too, but it's limited by the 4-1-4-1 formation. For top top top teams, a more dominating tactic would be more fun though :)
 
Ok so here's my story and use of this tactic....

I took over swansea after a couple seasons into the game and built them up, buying good young regens to develop and big names who had fallen out with clubs and available for a bargin.

The last couple of seasons we've managed to get into the top four but couldnt make that step up to challenge for the title. About a quarter into my latest season I started using your tactics, the 442 and the underdog. It was going well but wasnt stable. Then for the last third of the season I used your 4141 rock and we became a brilliant side. Consistent form led us to challenge for the title and win it on the last day of the season!! by beating arsenal into second place.



oh, and we also won the champions league! in a tight 1-0 against man utd.

While the rock tactic is great at keeping clean sheets, now and again it does have brilliant attacking, this result being a particular highlight ;)
