I use Genie Scout to find players. Would you suggest signing players that have good 'ratings' in the roles of the original rock tactic to use in the new rock tactic.

I know you're saying there aren't any roles but are the players I should be signing be in the 'shape' of the roles from the original tactic?

Dude, I must say, where do you get the fun out of the game? You're not scouting for players, you're not making tactics, you want every detail there is to be given to you :) But yeah, just get players fitting the roles of the originial rock.
 
Hi Mr Langvatn, i tried your 4141 rock and found very good results. Can i request tridente tactics (3 strikers) please ? because i fan of it, thanks.
 
Hi Mr L,

First and foremost the 4141 Rock Classic is a superb tactic :) I tinkered with it and made the following changes with focus passing to middle in mind and I achieved relatively positive result as well :

1.Both wingers will not roam from position and have little creative freedom.
2. One MC with good creativity, flair, off the ball and etc set as roam from position and with normal creative freedom. (reason because passing set to focus to middle)
3. The other MC set to normal creative freedom
4. I unchecked play offside

To be fair though, that tactic works best with big strong strikers which Liverpool dont have. I agree though that it is definitely not the best tactic out there, I have tried a couple which were better but again these require big strong strikers so wouldn't work in your test.

I've also tried numerous tweaks on it, but over time it seems that it does better as it is. Those changes are okay though if you prefer that. It's still a great tac. I would keep play offside though, unless you're playing a lower league team.

i take degeneration tactic but i just change 2 of mc to ml and mr and i have good result too. i didn t change any of your player instruction but it s work.i hope you understand me because i never speak english.

Just came 1st in blue square south with bath 4-1-3-2 was predicted 7th thinking of using 4-1-4-1 for blue square prem any recommendations?

The 4-1-4-1 Rock and Rock Classic are both very good. I'm using the classic one myself on my eastleigh team :)
 
Which tactic is the best tactic to use for both lower league teams and premiership teams? I am interested in using your tactics as a change from the Arrigo Sacchi tactics that I have mostly been using

4-1-4-1 Rock Classic
 
The rock classic's really really rock ! But i wanna tweak some, i change 4-1-4-1 to 4-3-3 with 3 striker and 3 midfield. Hope getting good result !
