Mr Langvatn's Tactic Thread (Updated for 13.3.3)

Not complaining though. It's the best tactic I've ever used so thank you for that. Injuries haven't helped and i may be synnical but every time I've played man city I've had someone sent off or they have been given a penalty.

I feel you mate. It's football. In my 3rd season with Chelsea I drew 9 games against teams in the bottom half. Battered them but for whatever reason couldn't score. Cost me the league to city even though I beat them home and away and in the semis of the CL. Some consolation to me as I knew I was actually better then them it was just the fact I'd drawn too many games against Fulham! It's football isn't it. Can't win every game.
This is the best tactic though without doubt. If I draw or loose (a loss is a rarity) I never deserve to when analysing the stats. I always play better than the opponent. Top work Mr L

Loving this tactic but when im playing away my team conceds a lot of crosses goals :OWhat sould i do ??

Does anyone have a way to do it by playing the national team to has 100% fluid tactic ? Is it possible ?

You will only get 100% fluidity in a major tourny when your team are together for a prolonged period of time. When I played in the world cup it was almost fully fluid by the time the first group games kicked off. For qualifiers you just have to put up with it not being fluid, the other teams have the same problem so it's not a massive issue.

Out of curiosity, has anyone tested 4-1-4-1 Rock (or the Classic version of it) on network games against other human-controlled teams? Is it still working as well as in single player?

4-1-4-1 Rock Classic seem to be struggling a bit after promotion for my Luton team. Didn't quite get the players i wanted. Anyone have some shouts they feel are "super effective" after coming under, especially away? Seems impossible to come back now, even after going just 1 goal down early.

About training; do you put players focus on individual role? If so, which ones? I suppose CM = CM, DM = DM etc and not Ball-Winning or Deep-Lying Playmaker for example?

I'm using: Goalkepper - Central Defender, Full Back, Deep-Lying Playmaker, CM, Winger and Poacher.

If I am down by half time away: Im not happy with your performance ---->assertive. Always gets the team going.
The players that don't respond to that, gets the "I have faith/you've got what it takes---->calm individually

Well done Mr. Langvatn.

All I can say is that your 4-1-4-1 Rock Classic is the best tactic I have used on FM 2013 to date. I started a new save with Aberdeen and have ended up winning the domestic treble in my first season.

Training (during season) - I used Balanced with Average and attacking movement (sometimes switching to defensive positioning if I felt I had been letting in too many easy goals).

Individual Training

GK - Goalkeeper
DC - Central Defender
FB - Fullback
DMC - Central Midfield
MC - Central Midfield
MR/ML - Winger
ST - Poacher

OI's - None

Teamtalks - Assistant Manager

Pitch Size - Small

Thanks.

With a good assistant manager it also works with OIs. I won every competition going with Marseille second season in charge.

That's Team Talk, not shouts .. ;)

It seems as tho "get ball forward" and "drop deeper" work well with the counter-attacking
