I had a bit boring so I ran a season with Celtic. It went better than expected .. this is my results in the league .. and now await champions league final ...

For rock tactic what kind of centre mids do we need? (i am guessing ball winning midfielders)
Does the defensive mid have to be creative or is anchor man type player enough?

I just plugged and played.. balanced high + defensive...no rest before match

went on holiday mode between the matches...

no man management... just went with the assistant :)

try to close down + on weaker foot the players that gives crosses? like AML/R and DL/R. in the Opposition Instruction.
 
Finally decided to start my career save in England taking over Blue Square North newcomers Oxford City in an attempt to become the biggest club in Oxford and beyond :D

Season 1: expected to finish 20th and being a part time club with a wage budget of £1800, I couldn't sign anyone of above BSN quality. I managed to pick up 3 or 4 free transfers to just give me a bit of cover and squad depth. I also had to promote any reserves and youth team players into my first team just to be able to field a team sometimes.

So.... How did I do? Well I made a bit of cash from the FA Cup, as I got to round 3 and lost 2-1 to Cardiff on TV!!! So I finished season one with a healthy 320k in the bank which I hope helps me in season 2, because I am losing most if my players at the end of this season, their contracts are up and they are **** so will need a few signings.

And now to the league table :D finished top on 100 points!!!!!

Season 2 will be very tough getting all the new players to blend (if I can sign any!!!) Will keep you updated how it goes.

Used the rock classic by the way.

Edit: Just lost 200k of that money I had saved, as the board decided to expand the stadium by 1000 :( 200k!!!!!

Mr L upload player filters in Rock Classic(first page) :) Use them.

he told me last that the cm's are more AMC-wise players.. but would work better if you have midfielders that are also capable of getting the ball back.

Rock Classic doesn't work away for me too. I use nezza-3-3-3-1 for away games, and results are better.
 
Has anyone tested 4-1-4-1 Rock (or the Classic version of it) on network games against other human-controlled teams? Is it still working as well as it is in single player?
 
So Just finnished my first season with Ajax using 4-1-4-1 Rock Classic and also Mr Hough ft Mr langvatn 4-1-3-1-1 Degeneration X.
Used the rock tactic in Europe and against stronger teams and DX tactic against the rest.
Won the league, dutch cup and dutch super cup and got knocked out in semi-finals of champions league by man city.
I did not make any signings at all and tryed to use as much youth as possible. Will try and pop screen shots on also but seem to be having probs with them atm.
Both are fantastic tactics, so tyvm:)
 
Rock Classic: good works in the beginning. but last 5 match, i didn't win. help please =(

My team is Trabzonspor.
 
Just have to ask: Did anyone here try any of these tactics with Barcelona or FC Bayern?
 
Hey man im using tis tactic for malaga and im having such bad results when im play away from home !! what should i do??
 
You better specify what tactic you are using and how many matches (in total with team) you have played. If you have played more than 20 matches you should provide a screenshot like in the first post.
