They are pretty much the same tactic :) However, in my tactic test, the rock classic did get a tad better result. But it could be due to randomness :P

I think it's better to sell them, and get advanced forward type players :) I'm not the guy to talk to about transfers really, I don't do that much :) I'm mostly just testing tactics in current squads :)

I have now fixed the defense and some other small tweaks to the 4-4-2 I'm working on. Any help testing it with sub-top or top teams? :)

I've tried this tactic with Barcelona for 8 matches and 7W-1D G 34 CG only 3. It's more successful and I admire it but opponents find lots of goal chances. Maybe fullbacks and wingers could be more effective in offensive plays. and statistics aren't perfect from time to time but somehow it provides winning matches. Thanks for this tactic Sir but I want to this tactic with classic version.

mr L I know u can't really do a 4-2-3-1 cause its unpredictable, but any chance of a 4-1-2-2-1 ????? I like the rock but doesn't get best out of ya hazards and tonal do etc... thanks

Statistics don't mean everything. Often, in these counter-attacking tactics, the more the opponent pushes you, the more chances you get. So them having 0/0 isn't always a good thing. When testing the tactics, just look at the final result, not the statistics :) scoring 34 goals in 8 matches is really good :)

The reason the rock works so good is because the wingers are helping the fullbacks so well. They don't help in the back whatever settings you put them on in AMR/AML position. This is why it will never become as stable.

But I'll see if I can use the 4-4-2 as a base for it since the midfielders are a bit different there.

Edit: It would be something like this (works decent). I won't be spending any time on it though, as I don't like AMR/AML in this patch.

I'm happy enough with the 4-4-2 now. Uploaded to the front page. Not much work had to be done, used the 2-5-3 Angels V2 as a base for it, and it works nice :) It's not as good as the 2-5-3, but it's a nice alternative for those who just can't get the players needed for the 2-5-3.

I did not score many goals from corner,no more than 10,I am Fulham,a sub-top team in the 3rd season.

It varies, highest I've had was 25 corner goals (Man Utd). With Bayern I'm averaging on 15-20. If you say you have a sub-top team with Fulham in the 3rd season, your team gel must be very low. Next season (4th), don't buy more players for the first team, then you will see a big improvement.
