First post, and i'm posting this in your thread. Was looking around for a tactic that suits Real Madrid without disrupting their current squad setup. Came across yours, gave it a try for full season. This is no underdog tactic, this is beast tactic! thumbs up!

Hmm, not bad. I only had in mind underdog teams when making this tactic :P

My results with my underdog team for now : View attachment 296451View attachment 296452

I have a good defense but a bad attack, then i will put off in match prep from now and i put balanced instead of very fluid because my team have not greats mental attributes !

I wouldn't take off fluid. I would try reducing creative freedom and roaming if your players aren't very creative.

Hi Mr. Langvatn!!!! I'm new on this forum and I've been using your tactic in my Arsenal save(4-2-3-1) with some great success. I'm thinking about start a new save with Southampton, and your tactic seems to be just what I need to start that save. I'm not gonna delete my Arsenal save, because I'm having fun with them, but this tactic of yours made me think in a new challenge, because southampton is a great underdog on EPL. Hope to get me some sucess to. I'l give you some feedback on how it goes!!!!

Ok i put these 2 settings on medium and i will see (making new game with Ajka in 2nd league of Hungary, i know of what this team is able then i will say if the tactic is working well ^^)

Don't expect big wins. This tactic is mostly about farming points, scoring little, conceding little. Many draws, few wins, few losses :P

this tactic has good defense, manage to grind draws even when i'm being bombarded by passes to the opposing strikers. Nice one, thanks!

Are you Hungarian?;)

Well this tactic is not made for very weak team in low division, u need to have good players for it (like in Reading team), but it's cool if you just promote to safe your team but we can't hope for wonderfull results with underdog teams

Nope, it's just about getting points to get a safe position in the league really :P

I was looking for a tactic to start my N.Ireland/Linfield double save. I've had some great results. I managed to get Linfield to the Champions League group stage on the 1st season. I had a decent run to the group but still a massive achievement. I knocked out RB Salzburg, AEL and in the last game i drew Shamrock Rovers! Playoff for the group stage. With NI i beat Portugal away 2-1 tho Pepe was red carded (shock) lol. Then nil nil with Russia a draw at Israel and a win against Azerbaijan so unbeaten start to the group. Would defo reccomend this for smaller teams.

Finished my second season with Wigan, and for most of it I used this tactic, and it was a great season, I was predicted 10th, and I finished 3rd! I was really competing with the incredible squads that the AI has built with the top teams, but my I have only spent a NET spend of 5mil on my whole squad since start of the game, with Figueroa, McArthur and McCarthy the only original squad members left.

In the end I was only 1 point from 2nd spot, a late United winner at Stoke on last day got them above me :(

Here are some screenies of the season with this unique tactic, including a shot of my quite poor squad lol.

Wow, that really is amazing :) Congratulations, and good job :)

Have you tried other roles for the AMC and FC in the tactic? I see they don't do too good. You can try Advanced Playmaker Attack or Attacking Midfielder Attack for the AMC position, and Complete Forward or Poacher for the FC position.

Best combos imo:

Trequartista/Advanced Forward
Advanced Playmaker/Poacher <---- You should try this one and see if Ademilson starts performing :)
Advanced Playmaker/Complete Forward

Yeah, good idea, I might try that next season, Adryan began to rip teams open towards the end of the season, him and Moi Gomez are still very young, and could definitely see them getting better with every match, but I wasnt overly impressed with strikers, Quintero's low composure meant he was inconsistent, but being very fast and both footed helped him become my top scorer, Ademilson was disappointing, but I kept getting told that he is struggling to blend into squad, only ever played well when Adryan was behind him. I think Destro will be great in this tactic, when he played he linked up great with everyone else, passing and hold up play is fantastic from him, but injuries forced him out of a lot of the season.

But yeah, I will play around with the AMC and ST roles for sure next season, just worried that I might be able to strengthen the squad enough that the tactic might become obsolete, but at the same time I might only sign 1 or 2 players and keep the squad together and settled, I rebuild too much when I overachieve, Ill get punished for that on this FM I think. Definitely need a new keeper Sommer is so bad sometimes, but world class other times lol.
