hi fandy, which version tactic of hough are you use?

While I don't download tactics, unless I am testing them for people, I am quite intrigued to see who's will come out on top, as allot of people come here to find tactics.

If Xenon and Hough both win this round, any chance of putting them up against each other?

Also, I am surprised Laffles is out, I have heard good things from a few of my friends that have given that tactic a go.

after this round, I'm going to to make the 5th round as the last.. after that I'm going to run the winners together..
lets just call it 'the winners league' for promotional reasons..
I do believe some eliminated winners (il devasto, laffles, etc) deserve another go..
right now I dont test winners against eachother so that I can put them on the losing teams, just to test their reliability..

as about laffles, I personally think its one of the most impressive tactic I have tested..
it lost against Barca, a team who's still unbeatable in this testing..

Is it possible to put a link to the thread of each tactic that you test ?
Sometime it is difficult to find it. For example, I don't find Retsinhab tactic.

I thought these tactics will be easy to find, as they are very popular.. I got most of the tactics last month based on ratings, replies, or recommendations.. I downloaded them and renamed them to the creator name/popular name.. honestly, sometime I couldnt remember where did I got the tactic.. :'(

Yeah I think you are onto something here. I created my tactic based on effectiveness, not on a certain way a team plays, however my tactic was similar in some ways to how Man Utd played last season in style. I've managed to create a whole defence which I've been slowly perfecting so I think I've got all of the individual instructions for the defence right. As for midfield, the tactic is not meant for a glamorous midfield. It should work hard to get the ball and pass it onto the "attacking players" which like you said, it isn't too hard to get them to score. That's why I think the tactic is as effective as it is.

As for your tactic, I haven't yet had the pleasure of trying it out (unfortunately) since I'm working on my next tactic (I don't know why!) but I should get round to it soon because I'm intrigued!

just love to sit and listen (or read 8-|) two great tacticians discussing their expertness..

Mate, your tactic was only uploaded 1 day ago and has hardly any downloads. He is only going to pick the most popular tactics. Mine had 3000 downloads and only got in in the 4th round. Wait until we have regular members on here vouch for it. Also, dont be too confident of beating any tactic on here. There are several good ones...

His tactic has had very good feedback on the si forums. People have been having amazing results, hence why i recommended it for the lad. I think he just uploaded it here so people who don't visit si can use it too

its alright guys.. I think its OK to add some (what the better half used to call) wild cards in this testing.. I picked the well-known tactics so that I wont waste my time running (sorry to say) sucky tactics.. but this tactic create enough attention.. it will be the first tactic originally from outside of this forum.. the underdog so to say.. lets see how it goes..

This tactic is going great as always - Raikan makes the best tactics by far, been using the Perfect 4-3-3 for a while

Hey Raikan, first I must admit you did a very good job, this tactic is just awesome. I played with Shakhtar and Roma. Always dominating and scoring lots of goals.

Six seasons on I've managed to win the title with Boro. I think it might be possible to win the league with a europa league quality squad using this tactic.

Will really try hard to squeeze yours into the next round.. I just got this mourinho (el magico) lately, need some serious considerations here..

mate, do you also consider the formations of the tactics? those, who know, how the match engine works, know pretty well, that tha match engine prefers narrow formations with at least 3 central midfielders. creating a tactic with wingers and especially add an amc to that, is with this match engine pretty **** difficult. I guess, people, who have tried to create one, can approve that. anyway, Im really looking forward to my tactics challenge, since Iam really confident, that there is no tactic currently in the fm world, that can produce sucha a beautiful football, is solid in defence and world class in attack. no matter, whether the other tactics exploit the match engine and produce thousands of ccc in one match or not, my tactic will beat anyone

I know that when I asked before, you did not remember as you had renamed it, but if you just tell me what width, tempo and d-line that is used, I will know what version of the Wide 41221 that is used.( 50-50 on it being a version that actually can be used as a plug & play)

WHOA! There have been lots going on since last time I was here..
this is the disadvantage of living in this part of the world, I'm always missing the 'party'.. :O
anyway, I just hope this wont get out of hand.

just to to be clear, the testing is not meant to dishonor any tactic..
I just want to see how they do when I use them on plug n play.. for personal use/interest..
this is how I usually play my game.. bcoz I do believe we can win things lazily.. ^^)
in my defence, if a tactic gives great results on plug and play just imagine when we do micromanagement, key signings, set up..

another thing, I'm in no position to explain why the tactic success or fail.. I'm not tactician, just a user..
I dont bother with exploits either.. I simply download and play them.. no changes/tweaking..

last one, dont expect me to run this testing on small/weak teams.. not interested..
maybe, in FM 12, I'll run them on the underdogs, Tottenham, Atl.Madrid, Genoa, etc..

honestly, I dont dare to judge the 'cleanliness' of any tactic.. I dont really understand the whole concept of exploitations etc.. which is why I rely on their popularity.. if the community approve their effectiveness then its worth testing.. I only focus on results not on 'why and how'..

I love your confidence, I really do, and I'm getting excited to run yours actually..
