A_ilfandy I know you've said your not interested in doing testing for lower teams but I generally release tactics for universal teams - weak or strong. I've got tactics within the system which with a top team would destroy every AI Team but the same tactic wouldn't work the same with a weaker team so this thread isn't really the best universal plug and play but rather 'if you wanna be a top team here's the tactic that will rack up the most points' - just saying.

Anyway good work for your time and effort keep it up

P.s saw I was Inter Milan - an ageing squad with the worst fixture congestion on the game - racking up 87 points whilst winning 2 cups I thought was good considering the amount of fixtures they had with an ageing squad, if my tactic was plugged into a team with less fixtures and a more youthful squad could only imagine would have performed even better

you can try my tactic. Ive had success with napoli, atletico and tottenham. also other users have won the league in the first season with west ham, some had a lot of success with sunday league teams and so on... just check my thread in the si forum to see some screenshots

Even if I like this test, I agree with that.
To finish first or second with the top teams of the country is not necessarily an "exploit".
That would be great if after this test, you did other one with "average" teams, teams as
Aston Villa and Blackburn, Saint-Etienne and Montpelier, Sampdoria and Genoa, Real Sociedad and Santander...

I have no issues if you decide to test the http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/football-manager-2011-tactics-training/78417-legendary-formation-2-3-2-3-total-football-here-play-authority-8.html but for the http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/football-manager-2011-tactics-training/78256-442-beautiful-game-demolish-conquer-any-team-any-place-16.html use anything but Chelsea since they dont have quality wingers.

You can use Chelsea for http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/football-manager-2011-tactics-training/78417-legendary-formation-2-3-2-3-total-football-here-play-authority-8.html .

They would fit perfectly in that tactic.

That Retsinhab Tactic looks good, I might have to have a look at that bad boy.

It is quite impressive.. 21 games, only 7 conceded.. 5 of the goals conceded are againts R.Madrid (ONOX)..
that means its defensively great against AI teams (19 games, 2 conceded)..
it lost both games against Onox's though..

I'd like to throw the Darkatdawn tactic in the ring, it's gathering a really good following and produces some nice football.

I know this issue will come out sooner or latter, which is why I stated earlier in this thread that I'm doing this for personal interest.. background check: I'm a south east asian, for FM gamer like me and maybe others all over the world (maybe not in Europe), we control big teams MOST OF THE TIME.. the only average/small team I used to play is ***** Padang (I'll give you an early birthday present if you know what team that is, without Googling of course )..

as you can imagine, it is a very time consuming project, I just wanna make sure that in the end I will get what I'm looking for; dominating the world 'lazily' with my dream team..
I shared this testing thinking it could be some kinda reference for gamers like me.. also it benefits me by getting tactic recommendations and some attentions for the thread that keep me going.. ^^)

I just hope I dont make the impression that the testing is about finding the best and ruling out the rest.. bcoz thats not the agenda.. the last thing I wanna do is making enemies with the tacticians who may not allow me to run their tactics again .. ^^)

now, I hope I explained why it will never be ran for small teams.. to be honest, eventhough its other people tactics I hate seeing my teams failed winning things.. with small teams, the chances to fail increase.

I am sure most of the creators of the tactics that you are testing (some of the most downloaded and most recognized members) are happy for their tactics to be tested, just because say for eg: Sahar's one wins 1 round does not mean that Onox or Mr Houghs are **** at all members have downloaded them because they are some of the best around and just because my tactic got kicked out in the 2nd round or something (it still did really well) along with El Devasto and a few other "awesome" ones does not by any means mean they are not good and I have no qualms about it whatsoever, I just look forward to the next round of testing

So I dont think that we as the tactic creators will have any bad feelings to you at all mate its great of you to try this and pit the best of the best vs the best of the best thank you for your time and effort

the testing is done how it is done, if you want to do other type of tests or other takes on tests then you guys need to start your own testing thread and do it your way...

I don't know if this is greedy but my new tactic "XeNoN's 4-1-2-2-1 Barcelona" is in my opinion much better and more effective than my 4-2-3-1 Manchester United tactic that has been tested on this thread. If you've not decided which tactics you want to test in the next round, is it possible for you to put my other one in?
