mine is set to Defensive all the time, with average workload, I dont concede alot but also dont get as many goals as I would have liked.

Also what about OI's do you leave that to the assistant for every game?
 
Great tactic. Using it with QPR. Problem is the defense. I have been conceding a tone. Was up 3-1 after half time, and drew 3-3. Then I conceded 4 vs preston, luckily I managed to tie 4-4. Two games later I conceded 4 again vs Reading. Though these were all friendlies, I was a bit concerned. Switched the central d:stopper (DCL) to central d: cover, and the central d:cover (DCR) to centrald: defend. Now it works great.

Try get James Rodriguez..i think he is good and will be a world class plus he can assists.

I didn't face this problem. Maybe you should put other tactic as backup.

Nope. I used teamwork for 1st season. Then, I used defensive positioning when conceded to much and used attacking movement when the striker cannot scores. ^^)

I will use OI's when my player getting injured by opponents. For match against City, I used OI's for all City players. Just make tackling hard, closing down and tight marking is always.

Thanks for using this tactic mate. Yeah, I know the biggest weaknesses this tactic is defense. Congrats and thank you because you have found the best way to avoid conceding to many goals. Then, I hope you can update your result here mate, so I can see the improvement on the defensive line. Thanks mate. ^^)

On a side note, first season with Liverpool, ended as nrb. 2. 3 points after Man City. a points with chelsea and United. Could have won with 3 games left in the season, but injuries and Cards got the better of me, and I lost 1-0 to Everton away.
this new season not far in yet, but played 3 champions league matches worst was against Rangers away, lost 5-2 and it was a fair result. Till now I have been unlucky with injuries again, Suarez and Glen Johnson has been out for 3 months. Carrol far away from last season where he scored 36 goals, 33 of them in the league. Been drawing way to many matches in the first 8 I have drawn 4- and won 4. Bought only 2 players Sam something from germany a right winger, and Angel di Maria for the left wing. Seems I cannot get the play style to work intirely this season, hopefully it will be better when suarez return.

Ok..I see. Try use shouts by ticking push higher up, hassle opponents and get stuck. Or maybe you can change the roles and duties of both defenders like someone have done in this thread (Defender as Cover and Defend)..

Badelj can be a playmaker since he has a good passing and creativity. Sturridge can play as IFR. Falcao can play as Poacher. If you don't mind, upload your line-up, and I will suggest the best position for your player. ^^)
 
Best bounced back is performance during Champions League Semi-final. After we lost 1-5 to Marseille, then we destroyed City, 8-1 and win 2nd leg Champions League semi-final 5-0. That is the best ever bounced back from my team since I played FM. ^^)

I got trashed at home against WBA 1-8 they scored on everything. I got so mad that I put Agger- Skrtl- Suarez- Gerrad, on transferlist. Match after out against Man City I win 1 - 2, without any of those players.

Would you say that it was possible to use Carrol as complete forward, cause atm he does not win many balls as Tm, and that kinda takes the point away from him beeing a Tm.

At this time, play Wilfried as CF. Then, you see the result after 5-10 games. If they didn't perform well, change their position. I suggest you to buy Kadlec and he can be CF.^^)

What? Thrashed by WBA by 8-1? It's unbelievable. Something wrong mate. Ok..do you put Carrol as Poacher and suppy target man to head? I see his ability is great at the air. You just need a good crosser from winger to make Carrol perfect. I suggest you buy Rodriguez because he has a good crossing.

Play Suarez as CF and he can supply the ball to Carrol as he is better attributes than Carrol.
