Nani was a joke today. Diving seems to be influencing younger footballers as-well. Last week we played Whiston Juniors (U-17's), corner came in, I was marking a runner on the edge of the area, he ran straight into me and went down holding his leg. I went crazy, called him multiple naughty words and got myself a yellow card and a penalty was given. Thankfully we went on to win 4-3 but I was so angry, the player wouldn't even speak to me about it after the match.

Also, do players practice diving or does it come naturally?

I find it funny/interesting how there's lots of diving in the Premier League but rarely any diving at all in League One/Two.
 
Luis Nani after todays match vs liverpool , diving and feinting injury all through the game! he's had lessons from Ronaldo.
 
It's a shame there's nobody like Roy Keane who'd get himself sent off just so he could kick the **** out of someone who dived. I know if i played the game professionally I'd watch most of it in the stands for punching diving twats on the pitch, as I absolutely cannot stand them.

Vidic's dive today was epic. I don't get how someone pulling you back could make you leap so high and far.

You're right, that one is pretty clear cut. Shame they can't give red cards for this sort of thing.

Gerrard is one of biggest divers in modern football he hears footsteps and he goes to ground.

One of the worst I have ever seen though has been Pascal Chimbonda before during and after he played for Sunderland he simply gets the ball turns his back on a player feels contact and goes down like he has been shot and always gets a free kick.

Was brilliant when he did it for Sunderland annoying when its not.
