Good story with a easy to read layout. I actually went to a Napoli game a few weeks ago on my Italian holiday over easter, the stadium is amazing :D

Thank guy's. There may be another update tonight? Not sure yet.

September - One Of Each!

My Thought's About Last Month
Last month was a really good month for me, the club, and the fan's. We only had 3 game's and we won them all, getting 6 point's in the league, and going through to the next round in the Italian Cup, confidence was high, and everyone at the club has a mile on there face. But I'm not sure it would last? We only had 3 game's again but 2 of them where against 2 very strong team's Juventus & Fiorentina and we can't expect to win those game's, in-fact I think we would be expected to lose. But who knows.

Serie A
Juventus 1 - 1 Napoli
Goal - Erwin Hoffer

I'm actually really happy with this result, Juventus are a really strong team, and a team who will finish in the top 4 I feel, they have some strong players, and work well as a team. And it was a rather even game, both team's created chances, and had a even amount off the ball. They did take the lead on the 11th minute with a nicely worked goal, but we pulled a goal back on the 32nd minute, and after this is was a relatively boring game.

Serie A
Fiorentina 4 - 0 Napoli
Goal's -

I'm actually pretty angry at this result, just looking at the score suggests it was a one sided game? But in my opinion we where the better team, I felt the only thing we lacked was a flame in-front of goal, we created some good chances, and we got in some good position's but when it came to the 'Shooing' Side of thing's we where just poor. Fiorentina did take there chances and that was the difference in the game.

Serie A
Napoli 2 - 0 Catania
Goal's - Marek Hamsik & Fabio Quagliarella

After the 4-0 loss the game before? I did think we would lose confidence and this would have been point's lost, but we actually played really well, and where the better team in the game, but it did look like it would be a 0-0 game as they where hard to break down, but they went down to 10 men on the 59th minute, and it started to get easier to get in there box, and we got our 2 goal's on the 62nd & 67th minute, so not long after they went down to 10 men. After we got our 2 goals we sat back and defended our lead. A easy 3 point's.

Good Luck. :)

Um, hoping to get another update tonight. :)

October - Just Above The Prediction

My Thought's About Last Month
A win, a draw, and a loss, that is what we got last month, and I'm more then happy with it, before the month started? I predicted we would lose 2 and win 1, and I'm glad I was wrong, we drew against a very strong Juventus side? Who by the end of the season I expect to be in the top 4. We lost against a very good Fiorentina side, and it's a loss many people saw coming, the only problem I have with that result is we let in 4 goal's apart from that I was happy as the team played well. We won against Catania who may be at the bottom of the table? But that just means they don't have much to lose and would try go for it, but we stopped that and took the 3 point's. So 4 point's from a month where I expected 3? Good if you ask me.

View attachment 58891Chievo 4 - 5 NapoliView attachment 58895
Goal's - Fabio Quagliarella x3, Markus Heikkinen & Luca Cigarini

Chievo where in the bottom half of the table, and before the game many thought it would be a easy game for us, even if it was an away game, but it was anything but a easy game. They went 2-0 up within 10 minute's of the game, and I did think that was it game over, as you can tell I was wrong, before half time we pulled a goal back, and then made it 2-2 about 50 seconds after the game kicked out for the second half through a lucky goal, we then got the next 2 goal's and the game turned in our favor. But as any team would? They put pressure on us and got a goal back on the 59th minute however 1 minute later Fabio got us another 5-3 to us. We did try and see the game out and keep the score like that, but they did get 1 more goal. It was a pretty even, end to end game, and I'm happy with how the team played, however I do think we look a little poor at the back.

Goal's - Marek Hamsik & Ezequiel Lavezzi

Was a easy 3 point's if you ask me, we created more chances, we did not take them all well, but we did look the more likely team to score, and it could have been more goal's if we where better in-front of goal, but we still got 1 more goal then them. And we take the 3 point's which at the end of the day is most important. Out of the goal's? Hamsik's was the best of the game I thought, we had some nice passing, and he received the ball and struck it, and the keeper had no chance.

They took the lead on the 5th minute with a spot-kick, which had an effect on us I thought, for the rest of the half we where the better team I thought and should have pulled a goal back, but on the 40th minute we went down to 10 men, after a Red-Card which is the main reason we lost, we could not handle them very well after this, we did still created some good chances, but did not take them, they had the extra man and found it easier to create them, but they could finish there chances. Deserved win by Genoa.

Was a pretty even, and boring game. Nothing really exciting happened during the 90 minute's apart from the goal, which was a good goal which was scored 15 minute's before the end of the game. It's 2 defeats for us in a row now, and confidence has been hit hard, I just hope we can get a win and boost confidence a bit.

Nice layout. Personally i have always liked Napoli, and i hope you will stick to this and take them to Europe, where they belong :)

a bit shakey their coach, i recently started a serie A save with Catania, qualified for the Europa League first season using your tactics actually!!, its all about consistency because italian teams seem to win when you want them to lose, good luck with this

great story so far, in my first season i came 2nd, 2 points behind inter

Thanks. I don't think I'll come 2nd, I'm hoping for 6th? If I got that I would be happy, as the prediction is 10th. So really anything above that will do me, but I want to try get 6th+

November - Moving Up!

My Thought's About Last Month
2 Win's, and 2 defeats is what we got last month, and I thought that was pretty fair with the way we played in all the game's. In the game's we won? I felt we did deserve the win, and where the better team during the game's, and after we won the first 2 game's? I felt we could go on and win the last 2? But it was not to be, we did not play badly in those game's but we did not do enough. 6 point's is still pretty good I feel. And we where sitting 8th in the league, which I was happy with as we where predicted 10th, so it's looking good for us so far. I just hope we can keep it up and maybe improve a little.

Even being the home team, before the game we were not expected to win this game, many people saw this as a game we would lose. On paper Milan are the better and stronger team, just shows game's are not won on paper, they are won on the pitch. And we where the better team during the game I feel and did deserve the win. A very good 3 point's for us which will boost confidence in the team. Let's hope we can keep it up.

A deserved win for us I thought, I feel we were the better team in the game. We had more of the ball, and we created more, and good chances with the ball, the team played some good football which I'm happy with, we where a little poor in-front of goal? And maybe could have had 1 or 2 more goal's but we still won the game, we still leave with 3 point's so I'm happy with the game. Should boost confidence 2 wins in a row, let's hope we can keep this going.

A game I wanted to win, we had just had 2 good wins and confidence was high, I did not want to have a dent is players confidence, but I'm sure it has now. They dominated the game and where by far the better team over the 90 minute's, and I suppose we are lucky it was only 3 goal's they got? Cause it could have been more, but our keeper made some good saves. Poor game by us today, let's hope we can forget about this and get back to winning way's.

This is just what we needed after at defeat a good win, and that is what it was. We where by far the stronger team in the game, created more chances and took our chances well I thought. It could have been more? But I'm still happy with 4-0, we got the win? And we got 3 point's. This should also boost confidence back up which should help in our next game's. Also despite us being the better team? Bari did play some good football and maybe should have had a goal or 2.

December - It's Looking Good

My Thought's About Last Month
Well.. I thought last month was a very good month for us overall 3 wins from 4 game's. We lost the game I wanted to win, and won the game I thought we would lose, so it was a little weired really, but still 9 point's? Very happy with that, and it takes us up a few spot's in the league table. I just hope we can keep winning this month and maybe win all of our game's it's possible for us as the team's we are player are team's we should be winning, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Before the game? We where favorites for this game, and some said it would be a easy game for us, but it was anything but easy. And if I had to say who the better team was? I'd say Chievo! But we still won the game, we took the lead on the stroke of half time, with a well placed shot, and went in at half time with confidence we could come out 2nd half and wrap the game up, but they pulled a goal back on the 84th minutes and held on till the end, so it was extra time, player's where tired, but on the 99th minute Hamsik gave is the lead. After that we sat back knowing they where tired and they would not cause much of a threat, and we won the game.

A boring, even game of football, that pretty much sum's it up. It was nothing exciting to be fair, there was I think about 2 chances that could have gone in, that was it and it should have been a easy 2nd half for us as just before half time? They went down to 10 men after a straight red-card. So maybe we should have created more in the 2nd half having that extra man. But we where poor, they where poor, and a draw is a good result I feel. Just hope we don't play like this all the time.

Another even game, but this time it was a more exciting game then the last, both team's created some good chances, and shared the ball throughout the game. We did go 2-0 up getting both goal's before 50 minutes, and we did look like it would be 3 point's. However they came back strong and pulled 2 goal's back, and even looked like they would get 3. Still happy with a point.

A good win for us, I felt we where the better team in the game and created the better chances during the game, they could have gone 2-0 up in the first 9 minutes, they could have been 1-0 up on the 5th minute but Crespo missed a penalty but they did get one 4 minutes later. We did get 2 goal's before the end of the game and that gave us the 3 point's and a boost in confidence.

£20 Million

Fabio Quagliarella Joins Barcelona
napoli%20livorno%203%201.png

Quagliarella has joined Barcelona for a fee of £20 Million, Quagliarella is Napoli's top goalscorer this season, but manager Danny Carter thought the offer was to good to turn down. And he had this to say.

"When Barcelona came in with the £20 Million offer? I did have to think about it, Fabio has been one of our best players this season, and is our top goalscorer, but I felt with the money we could get a player who could do even better then Fabio has"

Napoli will not get the full £20 Million, it's thought they will have around £13 Million to spend on a new striker.

Andre Pierre Gignac time?

Need a 'Complete Forward'

Thinking.. Artem Milevskyi, I've played him as a Complete Forward before and he did pretty well.

Napoli have signed there replacement for Fabio Quagliarella. Artem Milevskyi is the man Manager Danny Carter believe can get them the goal's and only paying £7.5 Million, it's £12.5 Million less then Barcelona paid for Fabio! Mr.Carter had this to say.

"I'm happy with this signing, I believe he can get us the goal's we need to win game's, he's a very strong player who will be able to push defenders off the ball. I'm sure he will do well"
