Transfer's - In's & Out's

So.. After such a good first season, and finishing 3rd in the league when many people expected us to finish mid table, I have been given a budget of £55,000,000 to work with, and I feel that is more then enough, I was not expecting this much so I think the bored. And I hope with that money I can bring in players that will add something to the team.


In's
Rafael Van Der Vaart - £7,250,00
Rafael was transfer listed, and when someone of his quality is transfer listed you have to try sign him, and we did. He's a top class player who will bring loads to the team. And when fit? He will be playing most game's, it will be between him and Hamsik for the AMC spot.

Breno - £12,000,000
Last season we let in a few to many goal's I feel, and I felt we needed a new face at the back to make the back 3 stronger and I feel Breno will do that. And he is still young, on 20 and will get better in years to come.

Vagner Love - £10,000,000
During last season, we did have some injury problem's upfront. We did have to play some players out of position, so I feel adding another striker to the club will mean we don't have to do that this season. I've brought him in add maybe a back-up player, but I can see him pushing in to the 1st team, and being played all the time.

Marouane Fellaini - £22,000,000
As we play a narrow formation, all of our play will be down the middle of the park, so we need to control the center of the park, and Fellaini will help us do that. He's strong, has good stamina, he's a brave player and he can pass the ball good. I feel he will help us in the center of the park.

These player's last season where just back-up players who got maybe 4 game last season maximum, and when offers of £4,000,000 came in for them or more? I could not say no really.​

Some good buys there.

Ive made a little change to the tactic try and make it more solid on the flanks. The right and left sided CBs are now Central Defenders with Cover duty,and the central CB is a Ball Playing Defender with Defend duty.

It seems to be more solid. If your still using the tactic will you give it a try and let me know if its any better?

Just a question out of curiosity. When you enter you manager details at the beginning do you set a second nationailty to Italian (in this instance) so there isn't a language barrier between you and your players?
It always seems to be a big issue for me if I go and manage overseas teams.
 
August - Start Of The New Season!

After such a good first season for me as the manager, and such a good season for the club I wanted to try make this season even better. It would be tough but after the bored gave me there back-in and gave me £55 Million to spend on new players? I knew it could work, and after signing the players I wanted to the team looked bigger and better, and I'm sure we can keep are top 4 spot, and try do well in Europe. We'll just see what happens. But I've told myself if we do not get top 4? I will quit the job.

We only had 2 game's this month, so a nice easy month to start the season off. I was hoping for 6 point's but we ended up with 4. We drew 1-1 with Livorno in a game we really should have won, and at the end of the game, I was confused how we never won. We where by far the dominate team on that pitch, and we created 27 chances, but we where appalling in-front of goal, and missed chances that the keeper would have put in the net. Maybe it's because it's the start of the new season? Maybe not, we'll see soon enough. We did get 3 point's from our second game when we beat Atalanta 1-0, but it was like the last game a own goal which got us our goal, and it was on the 78th minute. We also went down to 10 men in that game, when Fellaini was sent-off for a 2nd yellow card. But we still got 3 point's.

September - Not The Best Start

After a first month that could have gone better, we collected 4 point's from a possible 6 against team we should be winning if we are to keep our top 4 spot this season. This month was much longer, we only had 2 game's last month and we have to play 6 this month, so I'm expecting some tired players towards the end of the month. And we have some tough game's this month team's like Lazio, Celtic, Inter and Villarreal so it was not going to be easy for us so all we can do is do our best and see what that brings us.

The month overall has been pretty poor, yeah we have played some big team's but if we're going to keep our top 4 spot we'll need to beat the big teams. Anyway, out of the 6 game's we've played we lost 3, won 2 and drew 1. The only result's that I'm not happy with are the Celtic game, we lost 3-2, on the day they where the better team but I felt we should have won as we are the better team and the stronger team, but Celtic where the better team on the day. The other game I'm not happy with is the loss to bottom place Brescia we lost the game 2-1, but we where the better team during the game, all it came down to was them taking there chances better then we did. But we should have won the game. Apart from that I'm pretty happy with the month, we also got a very good point against Inter, it was a game we expected to lose, but getting a point against the best team in Italy is always good.

Sitting 6th in the league, but it's not as bad as it looks, as we are on the same point's as 3rd place Juventus, so it only takes a slip up from the team's above and we have a chance to move up the table, we'll have to wait and see if the team's above do slip up. All we can do till then is try win our game and see what happens.

unlucky month, not that bad in the league but got to pick up some points in the champions league to get trough, good luck :).
