Well, maybe it works with both method. As I can remember I added a new year to all competitions in FM2011, so if mine didn't work, use what Marshall said.
 
What shall I change the winners/runners up/3rd placed for? as in which affects competition entrys and stuff
 
I have changed winners/runnersup/3rd placed for:
Premiership
Championship
League One
League Two
BSP
BSN
BSS
(didnt do below as it only goes down to here on game)
FA Cup
Carling Cup
Champions League (will do)
Europa League

Note: how do I make correct teams enter club world cup
 
78 club changes
29 competition changes
417 people changes

I have done all retirements now I just need to do recent released players ready for the update (V3)
 
For FIFA CWC you msut change the respective Champions Leagues' history.

As long as you have changed history of both europa and champions league then they will play each other

who have you put winner of champions league final haha?
 
Not done that yet. For club world cup championship, is it the same method of entering each year?
 
After a few rest days I'm up to speed with the released players in the football league and premier league. Just need to do transfers now which I will do after revision days. For V3 were looking at around 1000 changes

Ncfc stand for Norwich City by the way ? I am no stranger of Carrow road, is my hometown ;)
 
Thanks. It's mainly the released players I need to do now before it can come out.
 
Have you done managerial changes eg. Solbakken at Wolves, no manager at Villa?

What about Preston North End and released/signed players?
 
Done Solbakken, and MCLeish no longer at villa.

Post up your release players/signings but pretty sure ive done them all

update:
done all release players so far this summer (all first teamers down to conference and some released academy players from the big clubs)
will do the transfers over the weekend along with the other couple of promotions I need to do.
done most staff changes but will need help with some.
will need help with foreign transfers/promotions etc
 
great progess, got up early this morning to do all the transfers in england so far. all notable released players also done so all ready for sundays big release!
 
The only thing we need to wait for now is the last promotion spot from League 2, then it can be released!
