Thanks mate. I can see myself spending no more than £7M next season. Do you think that is too much?

Seems good Chris. Well, exept for the money-situation though... But, if you manage to get to Champions League, then all those little hemorrhoids (money-problems) will just disappear ;)

Thanks mate. Still a little worried about the cash but it will go away if we get Champions League. :)

Well, did we do it? There's only one way to find out!

Premier League

Newcastle 3-1 Man City (Guthrie, Delf, Dindane)
Amazing win! Guthrie scored early on but they equalised. Delf gave us the lead and Dindane rounded off with a superb strike. Superb result!

Fulham 2-0 Newcastle
A game to forget. We didn't turn up today. Really disappointed.

Tottenham 2-2 Newcastle (OG, Vanden Borre)
Another great result! Tottenham went 2-0 up but a Gomes OG got the scoreline back to Vanden Borre then hit a 40 yard strike in the 88th minute to grab a later crucial point!!!

Newcastle 4-4 Hull (Djalo x2, OG, Dindane)
An amazing fightback gave us another point against Hull. Hull went 3-0 up, yes three, but we brought it back to 3-2 with Dindane and Myhill scoring an own goal. They made it 4-2 but Djalo ended his goal drought with a scintillating late brace to grab a point.

Burnley 2-2 Newcastle (Djalo, Carroll)
This was the most important match of the season. We needed a point to win. Here is how the events unfold.
  • 37 1-0 Burnley....
  • 48 1-1 Carroll
  • 77 2-1 Burnley
  • 80 Djalo!!!

So we did it! 4th in the table and our financial worries may go away!!!

Player of the Year

Yannick Djalo for getting 25 goals in 44 games. He came fourth in the Top Scorers list with 23 which is a triumph for a striker only used to Championship football. Long may his brilliance continue!

So, 4th in the league. Lot's of cash to be brought in next season! Thanks so much for following and I hope you continue to as we push for the title next year! Chris. (H)

I will give you more details tomorrow. (K)

What an astonishing performance!!! How much money do you get for the forth place?
No matter what, that season was truly phenomenal!
Congrats mate :D

****. Bigger stadium, Young Player of the Year, 4th place, CL next year. The word "success" doesn't cover this achievement at all ;)

How the f*** do you manage to gain successs (which doesn't cover the achievement...) with such a young squad?

Oh yeah Frankie. 12 goals in 17 starts last year. 1 goal 1 game this year. ^^) :P

Great story Chris.

Just completed first season with newcastle, won league with 100 points, djalo banging in 38 in the league! Loaned macheda, ramsey and delph and they all contributed brilliantly.
Preparing for life in premiership although havn't seen how much money i'm gonna get yet.
Who u think i should go for in the transfer market? I sold nolan lovenkrands jonas and **** first season. Thinking about loaning macheda again, not sure whether ameobi and carroll will provide enough goals in the prem.

Chris will be the next Jose Mourinho! Fourth place is simply brilliant! Good luck for your European football next season! (H)

I struggle to get 4th with Tottenham, What another sensational season with Newcastle. Best of luck in the Champions League but i think youll do brilliant in it. Keep it up!

@ Matt- Thanks. :) I recommend you are careful as you don't want to end up like me. Spend it on bargains an plenty of youth's. :)

@ Man v.1- Cheers mate. :) I hope I can be. ;)

@ Tottenhamboi- Cheers mate. :) I'm on 10.3 patch.

Updates will come to night by the way. Transfer update and first six games.

Hats off dude.....Stunning rise to the Premiership and now European Competition. I will be following.

Cheers mate!

I have £47M to spend but:

  • My squad is poor and we will have to be amazing to achieve 4th spot or higher.
  • However, I don't want my financial crisis to deepen.

What should I do? :S

Buy and sell players but make sure you keep the troubles undercontroll, thats alot of money to spend i'd love to have that money on some of my saves, doing great chris keep up the work :)
