Thanks Sam. I don't know what Tottenham were doing. :D

Nice signings mate :) Bostock and Delfuoneso seems like to incredible signings, along with Mitrovic and Gago.

Great story mate, I really loved to read it.
Let's hope you will do a great job in Premier League. :P

Thanks mate. :)

You will see a few updates today. :)

We have had a great start to the Premier League despite playing Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool! Here is what happened...

Premier Division:

Stoke 2-2 Newcastle (Djalo, Tafer)
A good result to start off the Premier League campaign. Stoke were 2-0 up at half time but we dragged it back brilliantly with Djalo scoring a fine strike on the hour mark. Tafer scored moments later and we got the point we deserved.

Newcastle 3-0 Bolton (Djalo, Tafer, Bostock)
A great win against a Bolton side that just seemed to fall apart! Djalo gave us his usual early opener after rounding the keeper. Tafer scored a fine strike from 20 yards to make it 2-0. Bostock then scored an amazing debut goal in the top corner to secure a marvellous 3 points!

Newcastle 1-0 Wolves (Tafer)
A game that was fought until the bitter end but turned out well eventually. It was 0-0 and looking like it was going to stay that way until the 82nd minute when Tafer whipped in a Free-Kick which evaded Hennessey and smashed into the top of the net. Good win.

West Brom 0-1 Newcastle (Taylor)
We knew this game was going to be tough and we were right. But we won in the end. Another game looked to be going nowhere until on 75 minutes a Guthrie cross allowed Steven Taylor to head home for his first goal of the season. Great result!

Newcastle 2-1 Manchester United (Delfouneso, Guthrie (Pen)
An amazing game where Man United barely touched the ball. Delfouneso scored his first for the club straight from the kick off after rounding 2 defenders and placing the ball past a helpless Ben Foster. Guthrie then scored a penalty from a Vidic foul on the stroke of half time. Man United scored a lucky consolation through Obertan but it wasn't enough and Newcastle fans were singing all the way home!

Chelsea 1-1 Newcastle (Simpson)
Another great result against Chelsea as we march up the table. Chelsea scored through Drogba early on but Simpson produced a moment of magic in the 78th minute, blasting a 30 yard shot into the top corner. I couldn't have asked for more!

Arsenal 1-0 Newcastle
Our first loss of the season was an undeserved one. Arshavin scored the only goal of the game but we were incredibly unlucky throughout. Delfouneso had a goal questionably chalked off but Arsenal got there in the end. Still, a great performance.

Newcastle 3-1 Sheffield United (Tafer x2, Guthrie)
Tafer and Guthrie's fledging season continued after a simple match against our once biggest rivals. They took the lead through Evans but Tafer's quick Brace quickly restored the lead. Guthrie scored a power shot deep into injury time to wrap up our first win in a couple of games.

Newcastle 3-0 Liverpool (Djalo x2, Delfouneso)
This may just be our result of the season. We were amazing throughout and Djalo fired his way back to form in style. Delfouneso gave us a 1 minute lead after taking the ball round 2 defenders before finishing in style past a useless Reina. Djalo then scored a power shot on the stroke of half time which flew past Reina. Djalo scored a similar goal late on to wrap up 3 amazing points!

Carling Cup

We had two games which were so easy I won't report on.

Newcastle 3-1 Burton (Dindane x2, Carroll)

Newcastle 4-2 Hull (Djalo x2, Delfouneso, Tafer)

My next match is against: Manchester City

Other News

  • Yannis Tafer flew back to France after sustaining an injury in an international game. He is out for 4 months so I decided to let him go.
[*]Delfouneso has had his role changed and scored immediately against Liverpool.
[*]We are requesting a new feeder club.

Player of the Month

A tough one as every player has performed out of their skin. But, Yannick Djalo edges it after scoring 6 goals in 10 starts. A fine start to his Premier League career and he looks like his has cemented his place this season. Great performances from the lad include a brace in the Liverpool match and the Stoke City game!

Summary:

Yannis Tafer maybe gone but we won't struggle without him. Delfouneso and Djalo are starting to get to know each other and could become a great pair! The defence looks assured and the young players are having a great impact on the squad, Bostock in particular. Gago's form has improved since I changed his role to Deep Lying Playmaker. The squad are starting to gel and we hold 2nd place! We are just one point away from Tottenham! Thinks are looking good at St.James'!

Cheers mate. Your support means a lot. ^^)

brilliant start to the prem mate hopefully you can atleast get a top 4th finish or even better win the prem :)

Thanks cfc. :) I'm aiming for 7th at least. :)

A good few months meant we stay top of the table. Here is what happened... :D

Premier Division

Birmingham 1-5 Newcastle (Gago, Delfouneso, Djalo x2, Taylor)
A fantastic win over Birmingham who are struggling in the league. Gago scored an incredible strike to give us the lead and Delfouneso gave us the lead soon after. Djalo scored a placed shot and Taylor scored a header. Djalo rounded off the lead with a powerful strike.

Newcastle 1-1 Blackburn (Djalo)
A poor performance meant we couldn't pick up all three points. Diouf gave them a first half lead but Djalo spared our blushes late on with a nice placed finish.

Sunderland 2-2 Newcastle (Delfouneso, Djalo)
Sunderland were 2-0 up until 87 minutes through Jones and Murphy. But, in the 87th minute Delfouneso scored a typical placed strike. It took until the 95th minute until Djalo whacked a 35 yard screamer into the top corner. The fans went mad but we haven't won in 2 games now.

Newcastle 3-0 Aston Villa (Delfouneso, Hanke, Djalo)
A fantastic win over an in form Villa put us back on the top of the table again. Delfouneso gave us the lead early on with a placed finish. Hanke scored his first for the club with a nice header at the end of the first half. Djalo rounded off the win late on with a typical placed finish.

Man City 3-0 Newcastle
Another Man City game to forget. Adebayor got a brace and Tevez added another. Not much to say apart from that.

Newcastle 2-1 Fulham (Dindane, Djalo)
A good win against a tough Fulham side. Dindane scored his first league goal for the club but Andy Johnson equalised with a screamer on the stroke of half time. But Djalo was there with his typical placed finish to grab 3 priceless points!

Everton 1-1 Newcastle (Hanke)
A good result against an Everton side who are always tough to beat. Hanke gave us an early lead with a volley. Saha ended our chances of 3 points with a nice run and goal in the 82nd minute. Still proud of the result and glad of the point.

Newcastle 3-0 Burnley (Delfouneso, Hanke, Djalo)
An easy win over Burnley put us back on winning form. Delfouneso gave us his usual early opener. Not much happened until the 60th minute when Hanke scored a decent header. Djalo rounded off the win late on to carry on his goalscoring record!

Newcastle 3-1 Tottenham (Djalo x2, Carroll)
A great win against a Tottenham side looking to win the league this year. Djalo scored 2 goals in quick succession on around 30 minutes. Carroll scored his first league goal of the season with a great header. Crouch grabbed a consolation late on but it was not enough and we put distance between ourselves and Spurs.

Hull 0-2 Newcastle (Djalo x2)
A simple win over Hull gave us our third win in a row. Djalo scored both goals, both placed, late on and it was the least we deserved. We dominated the match from the start and Hull looked disappointing. Good win.

Newcastle 4-0 Stoke (Delfouneso, Dindane x2, Djalo)
Delfouneso gave us an early lead which seemed to put Stoke's head's down. Dindane made it two on the stroke of half time. Dindane made it three straight from the kick off and now looking to claim his first team place. Djalo scored a fine strike late on to humiliate a dreadful Stoke side!

Carling Cup

Man City 2-0 Newcastle

Other News

  • Delfouneso pleased with start at Newcastle scoring 8 goals in 19 appearances.
[*]Newcastle look to loan out Bostock, O'Brien, Nolan, Mitrovic and Cuvelier in January.
[*]Mitrovic and Spear have both been linked to other clubs.
[*]Donaldson accepts new 3 year contract on Tyneside.
[*]Dindane delighted at his start for Newcastle.
[*]Krul amazed at gaining first team place over Harper.

Player of the Month(s)
Yannick Djalo wins it again scoring an amazing 18 goals in 22 starts including 16 in the Premier League. He also grabbed 5 assists and 5 Man of the Match performances picking up and average rating of 7.44 along the way. He looks like he could be the star of the future and it wouldn't surprise me if the big 4 come sniffing around.

Summary
A great couple of months and we are top of the table by 5 points! I never expected us to be doing so well but we will have to do incredibly well to hold this top spot. I am afraid that if we do win it this season we might not be good enough to do it again. But, January should be a very interesting month for transfers with plenty of big names being linked to Newcastle. Keep following! :)
