Well done mate, some great results, shame about the Man City game, but you have only Championship standard players, except two or three, so there is plenty to take from it. Plenty of drama in the Blackpool game, but unfortunately it wasnt in the way you wanted. Really looking forward to the summer, see who you target in the window, and what changes you will make. KIU :)

Here is our Summary:

In the Championship, we were superb coming top by a breeze. Here is the table:

Now, Yannick Djalo was our top scorer and the Championship's top scorer by a country mile. Here is how he did. :D

However, he was not voted by the fan's as our player of the season. This went to the sensational Steven Taylor who scored 15 goals last season!

The person with the most assists was Danny Guthrie who grabbed an amazing 26 assists! He pushed his way into the team and he took his chance superbly!

I won manager of the year. Finally, the Newcastle United team of the season!

Thanks for following and the Premier League updates start tomorrow! Watch out for those as it is going to be, the most exciting year ever. :D

Thanks Sam. :) Not too hard with Newcastle. ;)

how did steve taylor get 15 goals. if you say the corner trick i will find you (6)

Joe, no corner trick. I swear on my mum's life. Taylor is immense from corner's. :)

Nice stuff.:) I am waiting to see if you got any stars through the youth intake. there is usually one. Yannick Djalo has been immense for me, but has only scored 17 in the league, with 4 games left. His Av Rating is 7.3, so I am happy, and he has been rotated with Carroll, who has been good aswell.

Cheers Stu. :) I have one star. 'He has the potential to be one of the most gifted player's to come through our ranks'. He is a centre back and I have high hopes for him. ^^)

Its mike christmas at Newcastle, the 25th of June: New Youth Day. What size budget did you get then, mine will be a lot diferent, as I got a takeover, who gave me 30m in Championship:)

Nice to see our beloved Newcastle getting promoted. Good luck in the premier league Chris! (H)

Stu- £11.75M which is OK as I am looking at younger players. :)

Man v.1- Cheers mate. Keep following! :D

****, that's really impressing. Good job :)
Looking forward to the Premier League struggle ;)

Cheers mate. We're flying high at the top at the moment. 5 games played. :D

Great season Chris :)

We all love Djalo

Djalo = Newcastle's next Shearer. :D

Cheers Josh. :)

Djalo = Newcastle's next Shearer. :D

With any luck, he will be :), as long as he doesnt lose his hair like Shearer.... looking forward to your next update.

This will be signings update for the season. We got some good bargains and made a couple of big signings. Read to find out more!

My Policy is:

Summer: 2 big signings. Lot's of young players. An experienced player. Bargains.
Winter: 1 big signing if desperate. A young player or two.

Transfers In

Nathan Delfouneso- Aston Villa-Newcastle- £10.75M
A striker who could just become England's finest in a few years. An incredibly expensive signing for us but I reckon he should be worth it. He is just 19 years old and I have been looking to the future so he will fit right in along side my strikers this season! He provides goals and assists so he will be a key asset this season.

Fernando Gago- Real Madrid-Newcastle- £4.3M
When I saw Fernando on the transfer list, I had no excuses not to snap him up. He will be replacing Maduro despite his impressive season in the Championship. I am delighted to be able to sign a player of his calibre and he will definitely shore up the defence. My highest profile player by a long shot.

Florent Cuvelier- Portsmouth-Newcastle- £1.6M
Another youngster with huge potential behind him. I had tried to snap up the centre midfielder from Pompey last year but they were having none of it. Now, with Portsmouth relegated I jumped at the opportunity and he was desperate to leave Portsmouth. He could be a great player in a few years with a few games behind him.

Mike Hanke- Hannover-Newcastle- £1.4M
I needed a backup striker and after seeing the success that the Mr Hough had had with him, I couldn't miss such a bargain. He is great in the air and will be pushing for a place behind all of my strikers this season. At 26 he has a long time left in him to prove himself at this level.

Mikael Silvestre- Arsenal-Newcastle- £1.4M
I needed some experience after signing all my young players and Mikael was the ideal man to do it. He can play on the left or in the centre of the defence and will be a very solid player for us. He is on a 2 year contract which gives him time to prove himself. He won't be my first choice backup but Williamson and Kadar will have to watch their backs!

Yannis Tafer- Lyon-Newcastle- Loan fee £1.3M
Yes, he's back! After being so impressed with the young striker last year, I decided it would be a benefit to the whole squad if he came back. He will get an immediate starting place after scoring 14 goals in 17 starts last year. I was looking to buy him but Lyon wanted over £9M so we had to settle for a year long loan instead.

Anthony Vanden Borre- Genoa-Newcastle- Loan fee £1.1M
We needed cover just about everywhere and he can play, just about anywhere! A good player at this level but still yet to prove himself. I feel that he will push for a first team place this season and if he grabs it with both hands, I will sign him on a permanent deal next year! I have high hopes for Anthony.

John Bostock- Tottenham-Newcastle-£800k
I was amazed that John was so cheap! Tottenham seemed desperate to be rid of him and I was eager to snap him up. He maybe one of the best midfielders of his generation so £800k was a bargain. He will play quite regularly in an attempt to boost his attributes for the future.

Emmanuel Frimpong- Arsenal-Newcastle- £750k
Arsenal were desperate to get rid of him and he was cheap so I took my chance. We beat several other clubs to his signature and he will be backup to Maduro, Gago and the other centre midfielders this year. He looks like a decent player and I can see him being first team in future.

Marko Mitrovic- Chelsea-Newcastle- £450k
The young Chelsea striker looks like hew could be one to watch. Chelsea wanted rid of him and I snapped him up as soon as possible. He won't play this year but he may be loaned out to gain valuable experience.

Blaise O'Brien- Shamrock Rovers-Newcastle- £210k
He is a regen centre back who could be a good player in future. I signed him more as an investment but if he does OK then there is a bonus in that. Very cheap and he has some potential.

Aruna Dindane- Newcastle- Free
I saw him and snapped him up straight away. He will be backup but he will be used as an impact sub. I can't see him being here too long but we can make some cash on him while we are at it!

Those were my transfers. Here is a screenshot of who left. Updates to follow!

Interesting signings there, A lot of money paid for Delfouneso, so hopefully you will get a return on him soon. Plenty of players that if they are poor for you, you should make a tidy profit on them. John Bostock could be the steal of the decade.

Cheers Stu. Delfouneso was a lot but I love a gamble. ;)

Clever signings there :)
John Bostock turns awesome, Got him on my Stockport game and 800K is a bargain!
