Good start to the season with a couple of new signings looking good already. Kris Boyd and Mevlut Erdinc have already gained hero status after Boyd scored against the scum and Erdinc netted a hat-trick(albeit against Aldershot). I thought we were unlucky against both Birmingham and Man Utd, Boyd and Carroll missed a host of chances against Birmingham and Man Utd only had 4 shots lol. But two emphatic wins against Aldershot and Wigan equal a successful month overall.

Just seen Boyd has joined the smoggies in real life!
I'm not sure what offers he actually had on the table but why leave Rangers to go to the Championship and play in an empty Stadium every week?
Another decent month especially happy with the two big home wins and the goal scoring form of Kris Boyd. I felt we were very unlucky against Chelsea and deserved a point but it wasn't to be. The return of Peter Lovenkrands was great and he destroyed West Ham from the left wing in his first appearance of the season. Now just looking for the first away win of the season to add to our excellent home form.
Player of the Month: Robert Koren (4 apps 1gl 2 asts)
Another decent month especially a great point at the Emirates but two disappointing results against Everton. Firstly we should have beaten them easily but missed chances and Donovan pounced, then we didn't play well at all in the Cup. Andy Carroll was class during a month of injuries (Gutierrez, Erdinc and Ryan Taylor) while Kevin Nolan has continued to lead the team by example.
Another solid month from the Toon including 2 sensational comebacks against City and Stoke. The home wins keep coming with another emphatic win against West Ham before a poor performance against Villa. Mevlut Erdinc inspired both comebacks and along with Jonas Gutierrez really impressed during November.
Jonas Gutierrez has expressed a desire to leave Newcastle United.
The Argentinian winger is set to quit Tyneside in search of a bigger club, however manager Orrell has promised fans he will do his best to convince Jonas to remain at St James Park.
