Match 1

View attachment 300191

So we got the cleansheet that we were looking for, but didn't manage to find the back of the net. Scuffet injured himself and so Ruddy will have to step in for quite a few weeks.

Match 2

View attachment 300190

A brilliant result. Kenny gets a goal on his debut but defensively is what impressed me the most. Two clean sheets in a row is a massive thing after last season.

Match 3

View attachment 299904

Not the best of games, would probably be on last on MOTD, but we get the win and another cleansheet so can't complain too much.

Match 4

View attachment 299903

A much better performance with our attackers all starting to gel, only sour point is the goal we conceded.

Match 5

View attachment 299901

Another great result, Sinnaeve is really beginning to show his quality.

Match 6

View attachment 299900

I really thought we had the win here until they got the late equaliser. Still isn't a bad point and we are still unbeaten in the league as we enter October.

Group Stages Matchday 1

View attachment 299899

So for the cups this year we are aiming to play a completely different XI than the league and they performed excellent to get the result we were after.

Third Round

View attachment 299896

Not a great performance but we are in the draw for the fourth round and that is all that matters.

Competition Roundup

View attachment 299893

Third in the league, joint top in our Europa League Group and through in the Capital One Cup, we really can't complain.

Match 7

View attachment 299239

A comfortable win to start the month, Munir was excellent in his new role as an inside forward on the right side of a three man attack.

Match 8

View attachment 299238

Bit of a crazy game where our previously good defence allowed three goals in. Luckily our attack were on top form.

Match 9

View attachment 299234

A hard fought victory over Boro, which means we remain unbeaten in the league.

View attachment 299240
Group Stages Matchday 2

View attachment 299233

Barrios was on excellent form and it was fortunate that he was as Ambrose was brilliant for Marseille.

View attachment 299232

A really crazy game but a good result away from home.

Fourth Round

View attachment 299231

Another game where Barrios shines for our second string. But it is truly a great result to win at Tottenham by this sort of dominance.

Competition Roundup

View attachment 299230

So we are still unbeaten in all competitions and we have chance to make this season the most successful in Norwich history if we continue this rich vein of form.

Match 10

View attachment 299176

A brilliant away result, Sinnaeve continuing his great form as he sets the Premier League alight.

Match 11

View attachment 299174

We suffer our first loss of the year and we really deserved at least a point. It was never a penalty but swings and roundabouts!

Match 12

View attachment 299172

Sinnaeve scores a hattrick in his first East Anglian derby to immediately put himself in the fans' hearts.

View attachment 299167

Another high scoring draw against the Dutch Giants but we are still very much in with a chance of qualifying.

Match 13

View attachment 298889

So whilst we get a famous victory away at Anfield, top of the league Chelsea drop points away at Forest.

Match 14

View attachment 298888
View attachment 298886

So we follow up our win at Anfield with a home win against Spurs. Munir was excellent once again, whilst Chelsea drop points again!

Match 15

View attachment 298885

A good win over Forest, Sinnaeve getting back on the scoring run, he's been truly unstoppable at times in the first half of the season.

Match 16

View attachment 298884

Josh Murphy, who's been injured for a while, makes his first start since coming back and repays Huckerby by scoring both goals to get the victory.

Match 17

View attachment 298883

A very poor performance, we were never in this game, and it means Chelsea pull away a little bit.

View attachment 298880
Group Stages Matchday 6

View attachment 298879

So the game that would decide who won the group and we never really turned up, Luta was excellent as he has been all season however, and is really knocking on the door to get into the first team.

So we started the month off well with a good away win at Everton before we lost to top of the league Chelsea in a hard fought battle. We then drew with Arsenal and West Brom before finishing the month off with a good win against Hull. Luckily for us, Ipswich managed to beat Chelsea, so we have a game in hand and are 5 points behind as we go into the final stretch.

This game came at the worse time, in amongst a lot of fixtures. It was a boring 0-0 draw and we now have to go to Old Trafford in order to win a spot in the Semi Finals

Second Knockout Round

View attachment 298546

Two crazy games in which Harry Kane scored six goals, including 5 in the first leg. We are looking increasingly more likely to be potential winners of this cup as we face Metalist in the next round

So if we win our games in hand we will go to the top of the Premier League, we have won the Capital One Cup, face a reply against United in the FA Cup and have a favourable draw in the Europa League.

Great wins against Liverpool, Newcastle and Boro, and also a good draw against City are cancelled out by a disappointing loss to Spurs. So the losses to Chelsea and then Southampton ended our title chances as Chelsea win the Premiership for the third year in a row. We drew in a bore draw in our last ever game at Carrow Road before thrasing Forest on the last day of the season to secure 2nd place in the league, a new high for Norwich City.

View attachment 298354

We've made huge steps this season, having only conceded 35 goals. Thats almost half of what we did last season. We hae quite a few youngsters who should improve by next season and so we can only aim for the title.

English Footballer of the Year: Diego Costa (Chelsea)
English Players' Player of the Year: Eden Hazard (Chelsea)
English Premier League Top Goalscorer: Diego Costa (Chelsea)English Players' Young Player of the Year:Claudio Jimenez (Manchester City)English Premier League Golden Glove: Thibaut Courtois (Chelsea)
Manager of the Year: Darren Huckerby (Norwich City)

Huckerby finally acknowledged for the great work he has achieved at Norwich.

A great comeback win against a fired up Moscow side means Norwich City are Europa League Champions for the second time in three years. Harry Kane with a brace to take his goal tally up to 40 for the season.

Norwich City fans woke up to the huge breaking news that despite winning the European Super Cup the night before, that their manager and club legend Darren Huckerby would be leaving the club to join Manchester United.

''I feel as though I have brought the club that I love as far as I can. We have come from being a Championship Side, to a club that has won the Europa League twice in three years, add to that the European Super Cup and we have come on tremendously. Coming second to Chelsea this previous year took a lot out of me and with the club moving into their new stadium for this season, I felt as though it was right time for the club to move on. To join one of the biggest clubs in the world is a dream and one I couldn't turn down''
