Rotate a lot with Lamela sometimes playing LW instead of Lallana these days. Sterling normally starts over Blaszczykowski. Pepe and Hooiveld rotate as do Ademilson/Villa/Destro. Wellington Nem is a back up these days but his versatility is very handy. Essien and Alarcon also rotate but I normally favor Essien, will probably change next season as Alarcon looks like he could become world class.

A superb month with only the Wolves game as a hiccup. Two great comebacks against Liverpool and Chelsea where Lamela was a key figure. David Villa has been sensational this month and throughout the season with 7 goals in 6 starts and I gave him another year on his contract purely because he is playing so ****** well I think without him we wouldn't be where we are in the league.

In other news I snapped up two South American regens, their joining dates are in the screenies:

Also we had the draw for the Europa League and our first round draw was nice but second round not so much...

Transfers

Ins

Danny Sturridge was transfer listed, he's English, versatile and pacey. Decided to bring The Ox back as I love him as a player, he's also versatile, also I'm sure he will become a great player in the future!! Then the real big one, I needed a good young centre back to partner Inigo Martinez as Pepe and Hooiveld are knocking on a bit. That's when I got an email saying Zouma rejected a new contract, I swooped and got my man!

Outs

Mattia Destro left for £10m, not a bad bit of business as I got him for free!! Others left to gain some match time. Huddersfield are 2nd in the Championship btw so my loanees are helping them out a lot!!

A superb month. Got to the final of the Capital One Cup again, we have West Brom this time. The Arsenal game was a dream and a well deserved win, we needed a replay against Leeds to get through the FA Cup but the draw was kind and we smashed Chesterfield thanks to a Sterling hat-trick! Other league games against Blackpool and QPR were straightforward enough.

Player of the Month

Raheem Sterling

Monthly Review

An amazing month once again from the lads, all the league games turned out simple enough apart from the disappointing draw to Vila in which I don't have a clue how we never scored. The City result was probably the best of the season, we went down to 10 men early. I shoved Ox up top and he done superb till he got injured just after half-time but Lallana ran the show abusing the City defenders with his tekkers and shooting.

Away goals decided the Getafe game but we made it through, Arsenal in the next round and I'll probably field youth in those games as we have an amazing opportunity to win the league this year and I feel the Europa League could get in the way.

We won the Capital One Cup though, I took a chance and started Scott Maden and he didn't disappoint opening the scoring for us but Sterling stole the limelight coming off the bench to win the game for us, Raheem has been sensationally lately and he's turning into a world beater.

Player of the Month

Adam Lallana

Could have been Sterling again or Scott Maden but his performance against City tipped it in his favor, could turn out to be the biggest 3 points of the season for us.

It's alright :) Yep, that was in fact, me! :) I'm thinking about one, but I'm not sure on what time to do?

So a short month but a big one I suppose, won our only league game and smashed Arsenal in the Europa League but Lamela has been sensational this month and to be fair this season in general. The Chelsea game was annoying as we really should have won, Essien scored a screamer and Sneijder with a beut of a free-kick.

We had our youth intake but it was absolutely *****, never mind. Here's the Europa League draw and I kinda wanna win it now....

View attachment 300043

Dortmund aren't as good as they used to be and I'd fancy us against Sporting or Ajax in the semi's. But look at Norwich!!! They beat AC Milan in the last round!!!

Player of the Month

Erik Lamela

Sensational form all season, but bossed it this month. Signed a new contract this month too :)

The only thing that worries me is the pressure is on us to win those games in hand, but if we do the league is all but ours!
