I see that he received a red card after the second yellow... Mate, did you add "Easy Off Tackle" PI to him after the 1st yellow card?

I can say that I've tested for countless amount of seasons and I never had a players sent off due the second yellow card when I play matches myself because I always applied "Easy Off Tackle" PI after the 1st yellow card and after than I never saw that the player received the second yellow card.

no bro, i dont, i forgot about that ! thanks for the tactic btw bro

You are welcome ;)

Btw, I stated at the OP that all positions in the tactic have "Tackle Harder" PI active so if you don't manage the tackling level of your players during matches then I'd say you'll be just killed by huge amount of red card after the second yellow card.

Heh, the only excuse not to do that can be if you play with "Instant Result"(btw, I also use it very often ;)) then the only what's left in that case is pray ;)

There are 3 tactics at the OP:

1) 4-2-3-1 tactic

2) 4-3-3 tactic

3) Waste Time tactic

Here some tips when to you the 4-2-3-1 and 4-4-3 tactics:

If you see that your opponent uses a defensive formation with DM then you can use the 4-2-3-1 tactic without any fear even when you are an underdog and your opponent is a favorite.

Here's an example of defensive formations with DM:

But when you see that your opponent uses an attacking formation with AM or 2 Strikers against you then you need to be very careful here and correctly evaluate your strength and the strength of your opponents, for example, if you play an away match vs top club such as Arsenal, Man Utd, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barca, Man City, Liverpool, Tottenham and some other and you see that these clubs use an attacking formation agsint you and if you go with the 4-2-3-1 tactic then the match result might be unpredictable because you'll be creating a lot of scoring chances and your opponents also will be creating a lot of scoring chances against you and if you are unlucky at the finishing then you might lose heavily but if you go with 4-3-3 then you greatly limit the amount of scoring chances for you opposition and there’s probability for draw or if you lose than no more than 1 goal.

Here's an example of attacking formations with AM and 2 Strikers:

For those people that use "Instant Result" to play matches and can't see the opposition formation during matches to adjust their tactics according it, there's a way to get a hint what formation your opposition uses most time from the scout report before the match:

SC_Report.png

Please notice that some teams use 2 formations and the report shows only "the most used formation" so there's a chance that against you will be used other formation but anyway this hint is better than nothing. ;)

I can't recommend this advice enough, I have only had one player sent off for a 2nd yellow in 7 seasons.

United didn't know what hit them. The love of my life, Djurgårdens IF Stockholm, vs the mighty Manchester United.

3-0 baby!

I've updated the OP and added more examples of formations that can be considered as "defensive" or "attacking"

Defensive formations:

Attacking formations:
attack_from.png

When you see that your opposition uses any "defensive" formation against you then go for the 4-2-3-1 tactic without any thinking... ;)

But when you see that your opposition uses any "attacking" formation against you then you need to make decision what tactic to use: the 4-2-3-1 or the 4-3-3

Playing as Chelsea these top clubs can be considered as a high threat in your domestic league:

Man City
Arsenal
Tottenham
Man Utd
Liverpool

There are some lesser teams that also can be dangerous:

Everton
Southampton
Newcastle

I can give you these recommendations:

If you play vs any top club an away or home match and you see that it uses a "defensive" formation then use the 4-2-3-1 tactic.

If you play vs any top club an away match and you see that it uses an "attacking" formation then use the 4-3-3 tactic.

If you play vs any top club a home match and you see that it uses an "attacking" formation then use the 4-3-3 in the 1st half and if no luck then for the 2nd half go for the 4-2-3-1 tactic.

If you play vs a lesser team an away match and you see that it uses an "attacking" formation then use the 4-3-3 in the 1st half and if no luck then for the 2nd half go for the 4-2-3-1 tactic.

If you play vs a lesser team a home match then go for the 4-2-3-1 tactic regardless what formation your opposition uses.

Guys, also, I can advice that if you don't want bother with "switching" tactics and you want to use only one tactic then go for the 4-2-3-1 tactic because your result with it will be better than if you used only the 4-3-3 tactic.

thanks for all this goodness mate, btw tff, do u recommend to change tactic during the game, for exmple my opponent plays with attacking formition and at the second half they the go for defensive formation, or should i stick with the tactic i have started the match?

Sure, mate... you should adjust your tactic according the situation in the match and if your opponent was using any of the defensive formations and then he changed to any of the attacking formations then you need make a decision what tactic to use and your decision should depends on these factors : the current score in the match and the strength of your opponent and your team
