Flamini > Firoentina ?2.9 million - I felt due to age he was ready to leave the club.

Santi Cazorla > Real Madrid ?14.75 million - At age 30, I felt it was time to let younger players take his place.

A lot of youngsters go out on loan.

Transfers In

Luka Modric < Real Madrid ?4.3 million - on the cheap he could help us from CM for a few years.

Joel Campbell and James Rose have been promoted from reserves and under 18s respectively - Tried to get Lacina Traore in on loan with a future fee to buy him, however his work permit was turned down after appeal.

Well earned victory, especially with Giroud out with an injury, he'll miss most of September as well.

We've suffered a poor start to the season, but hopefully we can improve with some easier games throughout September & October, with Giroud set to be back in 2-3 weeks.

I've decided that I will not be playing a further six months. My place is free. I enjoyed my six months but I don't feel I can do another.

I know it was the first week of January and I hadn't looked at contract expiry dates and hadn't had a message about them either. The first I knew was when the offer from Juventus came in and he wouldn't even talk to me so I had no way of stopping it. Gutting.

Good run of games, though - although the title is already slipping away.

I know, it could be tutored up a bit so I will try that see if it helps at all. Theres loads of nice regens around but I thought id save the budget rather than blow it all lol. Rose from the first intake has been ok, just been injured for a little while.

They have been a pain in the *** along with Chelsea, both not really dropping points unless we do first. Sow is the top scorer in the league as well. April will be up later today. May should be too.
