Remember seeing this thread and I couldn't agree more, my team is phenomonal yet it seems like the only way the game can make me concede is by having my players have 1-2 howlers per match. I've started recorded some that stand out. Marc Andre ter Stegen becomes one of the best keepers in the game, but in the video below, he picks up the ball before it reaches his box. This is awarded a red card, to which my already booked player decides to argue with the ref. Bam, 2 red cards in 5 seconds. (Note, sorry for the atrocious quality, my laptop is hardly space age.)
This is the tip of the iceberg, every match seems to include a horrific defensive "back-pass" which the other team simply converts. There is no excuse for this, people tend to say "realistic, bad backpasses happen, keepers make mistakes, go cry some more, FM is infallible," I'm sure any experienced FM player has noticed this is occuring ridiculously often. Really damaging how enjoyable the game is, I can't help but feel that matches tend to be determined more by a random number generator in the game, rather than the tactical effort I put in.
