I know I couldn't quite believe what I was seeing! since I've changed to this new formation there doesn't seem to be many goals conceded like that but beforehand it was a regular occurence it was winding me up big time

has anyone actually ever seen the AI team make a glaring mistake yet? I cannot recall seeing one..

I have seen the defenders ball watching a couple of times like we usually get but that is it..

it would be nice if they could also make mistakes to even things up

Agree with this too Raikan.I'm playing QPR atm and my defender keep making stupid mistake, passing the ball straight to the opposition, CB dribbling the ball until get tackled by striker to score 1v1, there are just TOO MANY idiotic mistakes!!

1) Samba was the best defender I have ever managed in my recent QPR save, check his PPM's, he has runs with ball or something like that! try make him unlearn it

2) set their passing to short and with very low freedom, play an anchor man to drop deeper, pick up the ball and play the ball to your 2 CM's like Granero who have better passing stats and he can pass more directly..

play it safe with them and good luck!

Not sure what tactic you are using but this one worked for 8 years in a row :)

I just watched the video posted on the previous page and the same thing happened to me yesterday but I was the offense and it was the computer's defender that made the mistake. So, I can confirm that it could happen with the AI's team too.

If you count:
-) keeper rushing to the corner to clear a long blasted save from my defence and my MC volleying a goal from (almost) midline
-) keeper kicking/throwing the ball right throuch his CB's where my striker get's it first and hammers it back into the net

Yes, those I've seen - and I'm pretty sure there was at least another but can't remember now.

But then I haven't started FM13 before 13.3(? - I think... whatever version before 13.3.2, should be January transfer update) so things might have changed.

On a sidenote: IMO those 3 second vid's are pretty useless, can't see **** what's going on there and BAM, the end :)

Still seeing lots of errors in my games, especially from my keepers, Adan who is not the best nor the worst keeper in the world has had some really bad games, 5.4, 5.6, 5.7 etc and has made quite a few mistakes, he has cost me single handedly around 15 goals, coming for crosses, missing everything, passing the ball straight to opponents! being caught in possession of the ball at feet and this one below, my favourite :)

I won this game 3:1 which is a good result, especially with my young team but in the past this normally results in me dropping 2/3 points..

I've lost count of the number of times my defenders have just passed it straight to the opposition player charging towards them. It's almost bad as the "attempt" to win corners and throw ins by passing the ball straight out of play. Has the game gotten confused and switched defensive clearances and playing for corners/throws in around?

Remember seeing this thread and I couldn't agree more, my team is phenomonal yet it seems like the only way the game can make me concede is by having my players have 1-2 howlers per match. I've started recorded some that stand out. Marc Andre ter Stegen becomes one of the best keepers in the game, but in the video below, he picks up the ball before it reaches his box. This is awarded a red card, to which my already booked player decides to argue with the ref. Bam, 2 red cards in 5 seconds. (Note, sorry for the atrocious quality, my laptop is hardly space age.)

This is the tip of the iceberg, every match seems to include a horrific defensive "back-pass" which the other team simply converts. There is no excuse for this, people tend to say "realistic, bad backpasses happen, keepers make mistakes, go cry some more, FM is infallible," I'm sure any experienced FM player has noticed this is occuring ridiculously often. Really damaging how enjoyable the game is, I can't help but feel that matches tend to be determined more by a random number generator in the game, rather than the tactical effort I put in.

The opposition keeper came out to teh edge of his area, booted the ball clear first time straight to my striker who was just inside the opposition half, halfway between the edge of the centre circle and the touchline, who then volleys it first time into the empty net. This was either this season or last season with Salisbury so it was either BSP or BSS.

EDIT: as i'm about to tick over to a new season I'll see if I can find it first.

EDIT2: not the one I was referring to but still quite funny

EDIT3: I've found teh one I was originally referring to, didn't realise it was the only goal of the game.

Truth be told Sunderland did what your second vid did vs Everton but Mignolet caught it and Everton had an indirect free kick so its completely possible for a team do to it even a prem team... also look last season when Tim Howard Scored vs Wigan
