bahaha, anyway yea not good pretty awful in fact the loss against southampton not only is really annoying being portsmouth manager but it meant our morale just sunk and we had little chance agaisnt the big boys anyway however we did just enough to survive thank goodness! coming in 17th 36 points.
Southampton did a wigan got relegated but quite impressively managed to win the fa cup as they went down
And PSG won 37 out of 38 games their manager got the invincible's achievement!
United improved and came 11th with liverpool winning the champions league
So for me my job was still very secure, the stadium got expanded to 25,000 yea still abysmal while the facilities are still awesome so thats good. Climbing this league is much harder haha
3rd year then less money compared to last year weve got about 30m but bear in mind our wage bill is still by far the smallest in the league we will need every penny.
So who did we sell?
Zaha brought him in last year sue to his pace price and the fact he's english however 32 apps 1 goal and 4 assists avg rating of 6.76 he wont be missed sold for 1.5m to getafe
As previously mentioned Ambrose left to derby who just got promoted
ALong with some back up players such as Fornasier, Linder and Daniel Johnson all at championship level none of them played well.

Chris Smalling
Despite being 32 now hes still a decent center back
(even being in the prem our rep is still quite low)
English obv lost a bit of pace but heading 15 marking 15 teamwork 16 he can do a job for sure
on a free altho mistake by me hes on a 3 year deal! damm! i thought it was 2
that's gonna cost me in time

Ryan Shawcross!
Despite having a another good year for stoke he was let go again his pace is poor but for 34 a one year deal (victory!) is a good signing worryingly hes our best center back pace is going to be an issue for us but hes strong can mark and tackle well.
Casemiro gets brought in on loan from monaco, 30 year old Brazilian c/dm plays for port IRL high wages hence why he's only on loan still got it tho haha
He joins Joelinton an ok brazillian striker on a free lowish wages and reluctantly quaschner joins permanently due to lack of options and money for 2.8m goals might be an issue this year.

Goalkeeper: Mouez Hassen purchased for £10m a 6/7 out of 10 good communication but is let down by his one on ones 12.
LB: Despite sam dunn being brought in JayDaSilva is my man! been with us since we got to the championship eventually bought for 7.75m quick and works hard and is english he gets a 7 in terms of quality
CB: Oh heck Shawcross Smalling and another englishmen called cooper doesnt exactly worry opposition strike forces slow and steady but can do the basics well they get 5.5/10
RB: Foguete aha Foguete the most expensive player in portsmouth history 22 brazillian spent £15m on this guy he he could be here for years and years quick strong and a leader I expect him to improve as well 7.5 for him
DM: Filled by Casemiro and captain ben close now ben is now awful to be honest weve outgrown him but hes a pompey lad and english so im not selling him unless I have too casemiro is old and slow but still got it this position gets a 6
CM: Louis Reed and Guzzo will be starting with fernandez and viviani also fighting it out honestly with the exception of Reed none of these guys are that good all were got on a free or just above with the exception of reed of course reed gets a 6.5 this position gets a 5.5
Wingers: this is my strongest area of the team Gerson, Bantsimba Krejci and now Redmond we have pace precision and power its the most expensive part of my team aswell having spend 20m on all 4 combined yea still not a lot haha these guys are all good and provide different options 7.5
Finally upfront: yea ... well we have Awoniyi 10m from LFC can finish and is fast got 16 out of 36 for us last year a good striker but for our no.1? i question whether he's good enough and with inly quaschner and JOelinton as back up I fear we will struggle to score only time will tell another 6.
Two years in the prem averaging 39 points this year we need to make some progress Im going to set an ambitious target of 50 points and a cup run!
