Possession and Chances 4-2-2-2/4-2-3-1

Actually, that would not work. Because this is a possession tactic, you need the striker to drop back and play an all-around type of game. If you set him as a poacher, he will just stay with the last defender and not work towards the passing game. The best roles for the striker in my tactics are CF, F9, and Trequartista. The others won't work as well.

Its a shame that the roles arent the same as in the OP, then this would fit perfectly with Frankfrut

It's the correct version. Just forgot to change it to V3 when I saved it in the game.

could you employ a bwm along with the dlp rather than bbm or would this change the dynamics of the tactic, just playing with tottenham and sandro is a beast

Am I doing something wrong with the corner kicks? They're set to the far post and most of them just look overhit and go out. Also in the 4-2-3-1, can I use a BBM instead of the Support AP in central midfield?

Don't what could be the problem. I have not had any problems with defending corners, with any team. In fact, the defending has been really solid for me since the update.

It could be my players, Phil Jones, Marquinhos and Balanta aren't exactly the best of central defenders in the air; but I defending set pieces hasn't really been a great concern for me with other tactics (using the same defenders) though.

Apart from my bad experiences with conceding from corners, this tactic is one of the better 4-2-3-1's out there. Good job, and thanks for sharing!

Using Manchester United. I don't know what's the problem, but using this tactics away is especially bad. Plenty of shots on goal, no goals. Just concedes and concedes. Defending is bad.

The attack of your 4222 is awesome but the defending is aweful. The attacking is the best among those I have ever tested.

I made a tweak to 4222 and it now works great!

Going to give the 4231 a try. Been struggling for a consistent tactic for chelsea although ive been winning games my possesion stats have been diabolical. First game at home 2 west ham won 3-0 with 70% possesion over 30 shots on goal and 22 corners. Ill let keep you updated.

I keep it on Attacking Movement for all games. Once the familiarity gauge for the tactic becomes filled up, you will kill almost every other team using Chelsea.

Just started using this tactic with Man City. My first 2 results were 3-6 and 6-4 victories. After the tactic becomes fluid, will we concede less goals? I'm very happy with scoring 6 but I can't keep conceding goals like that. But as I said, it's not at all fluid yet and seems like a great tactic!

EDIT: I've just lost my forth friendly 6-5! Hopefully will start to get some clean sheets soon. Entertaining games though I suppose
