I'm afraid your wrong. Teams can get compensation if a player gets injured on International Duty (which I didn't make clear that he did, for Spain, his first game after he signed). There were also debates surrounding Gareth Bale's move to Madrid in real life where there were rumors that he may have suffered a serious injury to his back. Madrid may have got compensation in that case.

I've got compensation off an FA on FM14 before. Not sure if it's just certain FA's that do it.

So it obviously is in the game. Do you mind me asking what team you were and how you got it?

Yeah, you didn't specify international duty >_> You only get compensation during certain situations while on International Duty. I've got it before too, and there is a ceiling on it too. Exactly what situation, I seem to have forgotten..

Honestly can't remember. I can 100% remember happening though. Maybe ask on the SI forums if it happens with certain FA's?

big rep clubs no matter how **** they are, are still winning on this game! I am now in a position where i am by far and away the best team in Scotland yet teams like Rangers and Celtic score flukey, bullshit goals that NEVER EVER happen for other clubs! 3-1 up to Celtic 5 minutes left lose 4-3 due to own goals a penalty (match report claims that it shouldn't have counted.. typical.) and the winner was a blatantly offside goal. that happened against Dundee Utd i would have won 3-1.. it's ridiculously fixed that bigger rep clubs get ****** luck like this and i'm sick of it!

This has been said about Man Utd for years, especially when referring to penalties give/not given. There's absolutely no truth to it IRL or the game, I'm afraid.

Here I had 3 CCC's all with Welbeck who could not convert one. Dominate the game, deserve the win yet lose 2-1. I have no problem losing a dominate win or a team that counters but to cut open a team to be told no sorry you still lose is bull.

On top of this many will say that Welbeck is not that clinical in the EPL this season his CCC conversion rate is 70% so on average should have finished 2 of them. Gonna stop buying this **** tbh if they don't sort out this. They make the game harder but not in the way we prefer, they just make goalkeepers OP and just make it so you can't score even cutting your opponent and averaging 3 CCC's per game.

When my striker is having an off day, I sub him. Consider doing that next time.

Are these suppose to be football players in this game?! The "mental side" of this game is just ridiculously out of touch. Majority of the players in this game are so ridiculously weak minded it has nothing to do with real life. Sure we have players who take to heart everything the manager says but in this game majority of players are such big cry-babies it just makes me wanna sack them all... So, how is it possible that my football professionals (not youngsters) are "very nervous" when we play against one of the weakest teams at home?!?

Need more info, before you'll get any answers. Are you currently on a long winning/unbeaten streak? What did you say in the Press Conference before the game and what did you say in the Pre-Match team talk? What personality do your players have that are "very nervous"? Were they immediately very nervous or did this happen later into the game? What was the score at the time?

9 on target out of 33(!) is horrific. No wonder you're frustrated. Quality over quantity is the way to go.

There was 7 blocked shots to add too though so i assume some of those must have been on target..
but even still 33 shots should have a better on target ratio.. it's a shame we can't all attack like gods like the AI can
And i've tried work ball into the box but because my team is so good they do what Chelsea did against Liverpool but this time there's no long range attempts.. so i end up with like 4 or 5 shots all game.. infuriating.

Then it's quite clear that you don't know what you're doing or you don't fully understand the instructions. Sorry if it's harsh, but it's true.

The ME can't distinguish between AI and human, so if they can do it, we can. Work ball into box also won't solve everything. You need to provide passing options so that your players have the option of doing something other than shoot.

What mentality do you use? I'm going to guess and say Attacking? Dial that down, whatever strategy you're on, so that you're more patient with the ball.

Make sure that the roles and duties you select create good movement between the lines too.

Some users on the forums CAUSE the AI to attack like gods because they leave themselves too open at the back against the counter attack. I've done it myself too. Instead of settling for a draw or making another change, I just change to Attack or change roles/duties to get more players forward, leaving only 2 at the back. I've lost too many games like that, in the end, so I'll not make that mistake again.

Thankfully i won this time but look at the shots on target and their goal counter...
Getting real tired of your **** SI...
I looked at this a little more. You were 2-0 up. After half-time you should have been more cautious. Inevitably the AI will try and fight back somehow by being more attacking and that's how they got back into the game.

Go back and watch the highlights. I'll bet you'll see Ross County players streaming forward between 57 and 69 minutes when they scored. You need more men back and keep the ball better. You could even use the opportunity to counter them when they throw players forward like that to make it 3-0 and put the game to bed.

It was attacking then set to counter in the second half with dropped back wingers (AML and AMR now ML and MR) i try using the passing team instructions but shorter passing doesn't fix it and direct passing has the players spraying 40 yard passes thinking they're Stevie G.. you're right. i don't really know how to make tactics.. this is my first year trying to make my own :P

You're winning, so that's good at least! It seems that your base tactic is good enough. You're failing to stop the AI scoring when it tries to get back into the game. I saw you screenshot in the Successes thread and there as well, the AI scored twice at the end of the game. It looks like you just mainly need advice on how to cope with that.
