So I play on the counter against United, Eden Hazard is through on the goal but Ferdinand races and beats him to block his shot.
Eden Hazard has 18 acc and 17 pace, Ferdinand has 10 acc and 12 pace, Seems ******* legit.
 
^^ addition to that, beating united is impossible at OT. Players with 11 pace/acc like Carrick catch my players with 19 pace and 17 acc. This is ridiculous, Nani becomes a monster from a joke. Smalling is a monster as well.

And if your player manage a good shot, De Gea is hard to get past. His stats are mind blowing, better than Courtois in everything, really?!?

Pah, usually don't post here, but this got a bit irritating. After the winning of a treble the previous season, Pre Season meeting..

'Aim to win the European Championship'

Regen: 'You're being too ambitious'

Me: 'I disagree, we can go on and win this'

Shaw: You're not ambitious enough, we should be aiming higher'

Me: (privately) Sure, why not, shall I go and contact the developers to introduce a higher level of competition for you? Or perhaps shout at them to introduce options to select which have your higher ambitions?

Me: I was hoping for that reaction/I misjudged that reaction/I'm disappointed with that reaction

Result: Team Morale drops.

Me: I'm gonna punch somebody in the noggin.

Happened to me at pre-season meetings successively.

Update, seriously, are pace stats just a worthless numbers? John Terry just chased down a striker with 17 acc and 14 pace, lol. He has 9 Acc/pace
 
I have a frustration guys: my ******* scouts dont find any players at all. After 2 seasons (with Dortmund) i sent them all over the world (more than 10 scouts) and they never find anyone. They have scouted 0 players!

First i though that my "scouting requirements" were too high (Potential ability 3.5 stars), but now i sent 2 or 3 to France and Spain to scout players below 19 age. Yeah, they found 0 players.

What is going on dudes?

I have by far the best team in the game..I have tried so many different tactics and still nothing. I'm in 2034 now.

This complaint is just hysterical..
 
My frustrations comes from a high rate of missed penalties and a high rate of teams hitting back and equalizing after I score against them. I will accept if it happens once in a while but it is just too much. so annoying (on FM 14.1.3)
 
Getting seriously annoyed with U21 and U18 managers. You set them to "Use first team tactics", but the only thing they use is the formation. They ignore the roles you set, the team instructions, the player instructions. Absolutely ridiculous.

Why? Are you assuming I take the one tactic beats all approach?

I know what's changed in this release and I accommodate for all the different scenarios. No matter what I try it doesn't work.

I have a team full of the best rated players and I can never win more than a couple of trophys in a season. Other teams do better than me and I look at their players and think how?

I don't mind it being realistic, but I get nothing back from the game by taking a tactical approach.

I can try and keep the ball at 3-0 up and draw 3-3. I can create 10ccc and draw 1:1.

I can look at a bad pitch or weather and play more direct...none of it has an affect.

I can go on, but for me it seems like all these variables are there but they have no effect..or haven't been implemented.

…Especially when they also decide to leave out the first team player that you have specifically marked for inclusion in the U21 match in order to aid his recovery from injury, selecting a non-existent player from the U18s instead, despite there being room in the team regarding the rules on overage players.

I feel your pain. I dispatched him off to Zagelbie Lubin, or something, at the first opportunity - even paid some of his wages to make sure he went!

So the best team on paper, HAS to win all the trophies? Yep football always works that way... Your tactics clearly are working or are you cheating your way to 2 trophies a season., you just sound **** coz u dont like losing, maybe what 4 games a season to put u out the cups.. that is hysterical.
 
I'm seeing some ridiculous first touches on the game.

First touches that go 6 yards to the side from a simple pass.

Yeah, sometimes defenders to that and opposition striker gets the ball, runs with it and scores..
 
A frustration of mine, and I wonder if of anyone elses, is that some regens with 5* potential will seem to be developing nicely due to training and game time, but then seem to lose potential despite being young and peak at a young age. I've had a potential 5* player peak as a 3.5* at the age of 19. Just frustrating when you're hoping you've got a worldy.

You realise potential is relative to the current ability of your existing players? Potential could lower if you sign a better player in his positron or if your existing players become more suited to a role.

Also even with your assistant having 20 judging potential I think they will sometimes be wrong, that's why I use genie scout.

Third time it has happened that my defender's first touch to a 5 yard pass goes to Striker and he runs from halfway line clear to GK and scores, ABSURD!
