The most annoying thing for me is when, after I've started the season with a 7 game winning streak and think I could be shock promotion or title contenders, I realise I next face a team who are bottom of the league and have a goal difference of -25 so far. Instantly I know I've lost. Sure enough, I lose 1-0 despite having 47 shots. Then I don't win a game for ages and end up with more mid table mediocrity. This is my favourite of the 6 FM's I own, but by God it can be frustrating.

Has been the case in 14.2 patch only.
I might have exaggerated on the shots count. However, that also happened a few times before the patch, and I'm playing on 14.2.1 currently and it's happened to me twice in four years, the only years I've been on top at the start of a season.
Heh, I've seen same happening in AI games too. Schalke vs Arsenal CL semi, at emirates. Arsenal had 31 shots, 17 SOT, Schalke had 3, 1 SOT yet Schalke won. (I'm none of them though)
But yeah, the bad run of form is hard to end. I try to approach in a super defensive way when that happens, one point is better than nothing. Unless I go that way, opposition keeps playing through my defence like they're demigods
I once made a solid start to the Skrill Premier with an attacking formation and style despite a very weak team, and got about 30 points in 20 games. I think I won one game for the rest of the season and my formation became more and more defensive as I seemed to get mild improvements whenever that happened. By the end, I think I had 5 defenders, 3 DM's, a CM and a lone striker, using Contain, Very Rigid, and a deep defensive line. I was that desperate. I got about 10 draws late on but was relegated on the final day.
A bad run of form seems almost impossible to stop at times. It's more fun that way though.
I keep two tactics, one attacking other efficient counter.

Another frustating thing is when you try to sign a youth regen without a contrat and he doesn't want to join your club, although you are the #1 rated in the World.
He maybe a supporter of a rival club?

Nope. Like you are Dortmund trying to sign someone from Brazil or Serbia. Most of all reject the contract negotiation 
I always keep two tactics with the same or similar formations, and usually keep those tactics for the whole time I'm at the club, apart from one or two minor changes to player roles or instructions. When things get desperate, I start to innovate.
What I'm highly irritated with is contract renewal talks. You've just convinced your player to sack his agent. It shows info : "Player X looks to get the best deal for himself, even if it requires a prolonged negotiation".
You offer a contract, he wants some changes, as soon as you renegotiate for the first time - "I'm starting to get frustrated with your offer". And it was reduction regarding 2000 $ off his salary, not even a humungous amount.
FFS, atleast please get those **** personalities right, so that we can plan contract offers accordingly. This, for me, is the most ******* off part about FM. I'm good with most other things, but the personality and contract negotiations has got to be upgraded. Dammit!

I JUST CAN'T SEEM TO FREAKING WIN. I don't know how many times already I have started over. The first time I played I lost all the **** matches iirc then I start again using different tactic, still the same result. Then I start again using another tactic, with little improvement in the result, got 1-2 wins in the beginning then I don't know why my team just LOVES TO DRAW and then started losing. I restarted again. Giving up using my own tactic and use others' but still can't seem to get a win. Using others' tactic, I will get a win in the first 2-3 matches, then DRAWING for manyyyyyyyyyyy matches, and then started losing..............
Now I restarted again, this time buying different players. If I can't get a win after the first 3-4 matches or so, I may giving up for real now...**** it..And to top it off, my second last try showed that my players' leg are made of thin stick or something, an injury one after another. I got 4 injured first team players iirc during the international break. Right now in my current save, I'm going through the international break, hoping no one get injured... I'm Liverpool and as we all know they don't have much backup.

im at a club, where i decided youth was the way to go. I hoovered up loads of young talent for a pittance. I kept rejecting bids for them, but now my chairman keeps stepping in and flogging them off. Im not talking gazillions...2-3.5 mill.
We're not in debt, far from it. Should i look for a new club, where the chairman doesnt undermine me?

Gonferreira Your having the same problem I have which I posted in the regen thread. However I think i found the root of the problem. It actually seems to be some sort of scouting bug or glitch where if you enter negotiations before you have scouted the player he will be fine and sign but if scouted beforehand they aren't interested in contract negotiations. It only seems to be when you manually scout the player yourself instead of your scouts finding them. Very annoying because you have no idea how good the player is if you actually want to sign him. Test this out for me and tell me if not scouting them beforehand works for you

You're defending a lead, in the extended highlights mode, and switch to defensive tactics to see the game out. The time is ticking away nicely with your lead safely in tact, with your brave midfielders and defenders keeping your opponents away from your goal. Then there's a sudden jump cut to an opposition corner (or sometimes a free-kick near the corner). GOAL!!! No explanation of how they got through the midfield. Then if they need another goal to get an equaliser, there will be another jump cut and another goal.
My team is well staffed with strong defenders and midfielders who are trained up at defending corners, but when the AI decides it wants a goal, it gets a goal. Not every time, but far too often to be realistic.

Extended highlights is the FM13-14 version of FM12 and befores Key highlights. If you watch on comprehensive or full, you'd have seen the build up to the goal.
Unfortunately for the AI it doesn't get to decide that it gets a goal when it wants one any more than we do.
Everyone remembers the late goals they concede to lose a game. However, a fair share of Fergie time goals seem to go our way every season. We just forget those incidents as we're too busy patting ourselves on the back for out brilliant tactics.
Strangely enough I haven't tried it, but I was pretty sure that you could click on any part of a match (while playing extended/key) and you could watch it. Therefore my clicking to moments before the corner kick you could see the build up. But I'm probably wrong, haven't played the game in 2 weeks, stupid 'failed to reach set points total' bug!
This games results can be a bit controversial. I'm in my second season with Arsenal after winning the BPL, over the summer I bought Balanta, Mitrovic and Alex Sandro. It started off well winning against Tottenham in the Community Shield 2-0 but then in my first BPL game I lost 4-0 to Cardiff! Crazy!
