Could be an issue with your players having low pressure and/or important matches attributes, or maybe too demanding team talks or press conferences. I would probably also consider using more defensive tactics against these teams. Rigid with lots of defensive players, counter/defensive strategy, direct passing and fast tempo.

Team talks are usually revenge for last match (cause I lost) or play for fans. My assistant is going for press conferences.
Most off my players have very good psychical attributes. I tried using 433 with 1 DM and 2 CM but very often match was 0-0 or 0-1 lost cause I had no goal situations and match was boring.

My opponents always seem to have barely any shots and yet score. I still usually win the game, but it's annoying to not have nearly as many clean sheets as I should have.

I never have so much unfairness in one match but the ME now takes it to the next level. Call me paranoid but I swear the ME don't want me going to the Capital One Cup final. I won the first home leg 2-0 against Tottenham, and end of 90 minutes it's 4-2 with Tottenham leading. Out of their 4 goals, one from corner, TWO penalties -one of them should not be a penalty- one OFFSIDE goal. SERIOUSLY?! And the penalty foul came from a player I wanna substitute, I swear that highlight was supposed to be my highlight, but because I made changes in the middle of the highlight, the player I wanna substitute made a mistake. It happens twice now. Then I lost in extra time, full time score 6-2, one goal from corner, one more goal because the keeper drop the ball when he tried to kick it, and the opposition player just blast the ball into the goal. In conclusion, none of the opposition's goals is a normal goal. Needless to say, I rage quit without saving. I don't think I wanna play FM14 anymore.

This FM is frustrating; VERY FRUSTRATING. Perhaps more so than any of the previous iterations of the game. For this reason its my absolute favourite. Its unfair, unpreictable and at times unplayable at its worst. But (excuse me for coming across as counter intuitive) its also captivating, spellbinding and sensational at its best. You are completely immersed in the treacherous world of a football manager, THIS IS THE **** THEY GO THROUGH. The fact that you often dominate a game and yet lose leaves me obsessed with my tactcs and at pains with the beautiful game itself. This, believe it or not, is what i want; The ultimate football challenge. How do i dominate a game like barca and yet win the match? This question should never have an easy answer and so this simulation provides none. We must ezplore the depths of our tactical knowledge and create our own dynasty. After all, is this not why we play the game in the first place?
This is more of an conspiracy theory than an frustration... 
Why is it when I close exit the game for, I dont know, sleeping... my good form goes out the window when I start playing again next day. This is a bit paranoid but when I'm in a good form I really dont like to stop playing. I'm pretty sure that the game does some new "calculations" when a continue playing and now my form takes a U-turn!

Everything was going great with my team, tactics seemed to cure the usual "50 shots to the AI's 1 shot but still lose" characteristic. But then it just started happening again. I remember hearing that the AI eventually adapted to your tactics. I don't know if that is even true or how advanced that is, but it seems to just mean my players forget how to score.
I had my trequartista/false9 (Costa) and two inside forwards (Lamela Shaaraway) set to shoot less often, usually using the standard mentality with rigid and the work the ball into the box shout. So now after half a season of playing how i wanted, they have "mastered" the tactics and STARTED SHOOTING FROM EVERYWHERE BUT THE BOX. My striker used to hold it up then play a through ball on to an inside forward or a one two with the CM. Now it's just a free for all. The clear cut chances I do get - crazy rebounds, corners, mistakes by the other team, we score maybe 1 in 4. I can't keep clean sheets every game, but more than that it's ******* exhausting seeing shot after shot fly wide or straight at the keeper.
The game just seems incapable of beating certain formations in a natural way so it does this kind of fraudulent difficulty. I also read that tackling was broken in the game so SI purposefully broke strikers to stop them scoring double hat tricks every game, it wouldn't surprise me if the 1 shot 1 goal AI was a "Fix" too.

I've been defending SI and this game quite a bit, but enough is enough. I can't win if Match Engine doesn't want me to, 2-0 up at home? No problem, suddenly my team can't get a frigging shot, let alone a shot on target, can't pass, my goalkeeper tries to catch a cross going out for a goal kick, and just gifts it to striker for him to smash it in.

This is probably the first Fm match engine where player attributes don't mean much.
Fm match engines had always been (and they should) based on odds. (According to each player's attributes)
This one seems to be based on total randomness.
For example, when a skilled finisher with 17 finish and 17 composure has a one on one opportunity with the gk, the odds are on his favour.
Not with this engine.
Another example...
In many occasions you see goals been scored with thunderous long shots from outside the area.
Then, you look at the scorer's attributes and see something like...long shots 7.
I had signed a player from Ukraine (Rybalka) whose long shot is 20.
Do you know how many goals from long shots he scored in one and a half seasons playing as a starter?......ZERO! (the odds thrown out of the window again)
This total randomness has an effect on all the other aspects of the game.
Why bother spending 20m to get a player like Wilfried Bony on your team when the average striker you already own will have the same random odds of scoring in a one on one situation?
Why bother spending time in practice, thinking what attributes to raise on your young talent?
It doesn't matter that much anymore.
If you're watching this ME you are unable to separate the really good players from the mediocre ones.
That thing was obvious back in 2012 ME, where you could spot the strengths of a player just by watching him play.
My opinion is that this new ME that introduced last year, is more complex and more detailed than the 2012 one, but it fails big time because IT CANNOT PORTRAIT THE GAME OF FOOTBALL.
Football is played by individuals who think and react in split seconds, something that this ME fails to simulate.
In terms of desicion making there are many laughable events occuring on the pitch very often, no matter how skilled the players are.
Ok, the ball physics are excellent but it's the players who play the game, not the ball.

What is wrong with Champions League games seriously!!! No matter what margin I win by in the first leg I always end up getting hammered in the second. Won about 20 straight games including a 3-0 in the first leg and in the second I lose 6-0!!! Where is the logic. This happens in every single save in every season and happens with AI teams too. Why!!!?
Couldn't agree more. 4-0 in the first leg with United against Galatasaray in the Quaters, Rest all my top players for the game before the 2nd leg, none on my players had condition of less than 95% and I get spanked 5-0 with only 2 shots in the entire game compared to their 20+
I thought I was the only one!!! I told my players to not be complacent and they all gained focus and still got smashed. It's like all form is thrown out the window in an attempt to make it more dramatic.

Never a truer word spoken! FM2012 was brilliant in comparison to 2013 and 2014. The new one is an absolute joke! I thought in 2013 player attributes were a pointless but it seems even worse this time round.
I have to vent - to be fair I'm still playing fm13 but anyways just need to type it out to ease my anger: villa beat me at home in the derby with 1 shot on target. I get 68% possession, 4 ccc 20 shots on goal and lose. Although I don't really because i pull the plug and left at how this game should try to abuse me. Mwuhahahaha I have the power you mug
