Post Your Frustrations

The time wasting is bollocks as well. If you're losing by one goal with hardly any time left, the opposition will literally take 1 game minute to take a throw-in or corner. However, when you're winning 1-0, even with time wasting on maximum and the shout on 'retain possession', your team still races about as if they're the ones who are 1-0 down and start hoofing it about to the opposition, even though you asked them to retain possession, and take set pieces really quickly, even though they should take one minute to take a throw like the cpu.

My AFC Telford save.

I tracked down a 12-point deficit from top of the table Stafford Rangers. I was running hot, 6 straight wins, while they had managed a measily 2 draws and 4 losses - Stafford are in debt and were tipped to go down so they had largely been overachieving. So, next game is against Boston United, the team in the second best form after myself but they were rock bottom at one point so they are still fighting their way into the playoffs. Prior to the Boston game, Gainsborough Trinity, in third, had just lost, so I had the chance to stretch an 8 point lead over 3rd, while Stafford are playing bottom of the table Hyde but are still only 4 points behind me even though they have been up to ***** of late. Stafford however do have a game in hand, so I need to keep pushing to get clear as the season is at crunch point.

- 2nd minute, Tom Murray picks up a yellow with what is literally the first tackle of the game. (Idiot! No need to be trying to break legs so early and it is not even a derby game, nobody cares about Gainsborough-freakin-Trinity!)
- 11th minute, Tom Murray receives a warning (I tell him to back-off and play cautious)
- 21st minute, Tom Murray injures a player and receives a straight red, never mind a second yellow. Even worse, he has never played this shockingly, his aggressive play was so out of character. (I'm fuming!)
I had been dominating possession up until Murray, my best midfielder, went off.
- 2 minutes into first half extra time and Phil Trainer finds the net. I'm leading 1-0 while a player short.
- 83rd minute and my winger decided to play a long ball back to the 'keeper (WHY would you even think of doing that?) in muddy conditions so the ball stops dead and is picked up by their striker who proceeds to hammer home the equaliser.
- 85th minute and Boston lose a man to a red-card, two minutes after equalising through a bonehead error.
For the final few minutes we were all over them now that we were equal again.
- Fulltime, 1-1 (That retarded winger cost me the win!)

Stafford are stunned at home by bottom club Hyde and proceed to draw their game in hand. So, I could have blown out a 6-point lead over second, and 8 points over third, but I'm a win ahead of Stafford and still only 5 ahead of Gainsborough, not to mention only 7 ahead of Boston now, who are in the the final playoff spot (5th).

Now I know 7 straight wins is a tough ask, but for crying out loud I lost that because of pure stupidity.

^lol seen that before on another thread, still confused why it takes so much longer when u leave it to specialist.

I expect a scoreline different than 1-1 when I have close to 20 shots and target and 70% possession compared to the oppositions 1 SOT... The funny thing is, these games are so frequent.

I don't mind losing fair and square in this game but it seems like so much stuff is designed to just deliberately ruin your chances of success. I had a match on a Sunday before an international break, and half my team went off on international duty, when the opposition had loads of international players but for some reason none of there players had gone. I had to play loads of reserves and under 18s just to make a full bench, and needless to say I lost the match (with the obligatory injury after making three subs for good measure). The worst thing about the injury was it was serious enough for the player to go off, but then on the main news screen after the game there's no mention of it and he's fine, what's the ****** point in playing?

Dude,Fm is just a game. For me,I hv won too much in 11yrs,approximately30 trophies, that I sometimes get bored.Furthermore, this yr I finally lost in the champions league q-final.Surprisingly,I wasnt angry but even relieved.Weird

Another frustration this game seems to not only present me with, is the fact that forwards in this game can't seem to score. Doesn't matter if you have some of the best forwards in the game/world, they still cannot shoot worth **** :/

Two penalty misses

Media Prediction:"I expect Barrow to see of Bath today. Winning by 3 or 4 goals."

12 mins in, 2 down, one of them blatently offside. Bring it back to 2-2 before half time. Second half starts, my best player of the game gets sent off, we lose a ***** goal, and we cant hit a cows **** with a banjo for the rest of the game.

Post match confrence, do they ask about the offside goal? No, they ******* dont.

Playing as Chelsea, and the board won't update my youth facility's because they'd rather me buy star players, than get them from youth academy. So i have to rely on buying decent players rather than getting them from my own academy. -_-

The fact that I have never, in almost 10 months of playing this game beaten Palermo!!!!!

As Fiorentina I beat all the other big teams with ease.
vs. Inter 2-0 and 4-0
vs. Milan 3-1 and 1-0
vs. Juve 6-2 and 3-1
vs Roma 2-1 and 1-0
vs Napoli 4-0 and 3-2

But then Palermo just obliterate me, TWICE!! 5-1 and 6-2. It's those pink shirts I tell you.

And that's just one season, I must have played them over 30 times through all of my saves on FM11 and I have never won.

Lost two penalty shootouts, one in the FA Cup final and the other being the Champo league final :( stupid ******* game.

As soon as you reach the top of the table, the rubberband AI kicks in and you get slapped with results like this so the other title challengers can catch up to you:

It doesn't matter how well you motivate your own players, the AI gets its magic bonuses to finishing/long shots while their keeper becomes the unholy lovechild of Iker Casillas and Spider-Man.

Of course, after you fall back into second, everyone starts playing normal again. It's so artificial.

Getting a wage budget of 18k in League One and being expected to stay up on it. Seriously? :@

Really getting sick of these Godmode Non-League teams, they can kick your teams *** even if you have players 10 times better than theirs. It's not a matter of team-talk, it's not a matter of tactics.. it's like they get humongous bonuses to their stats or something. It's retarded that they can put up this much of a fight, their players posses no skill and they still get more shots on target than my team.

Some things in this game are just too random.

Never go on holiday even for a few days during a transfer window and squad registration time. The computer decided to unregister some of my important squad players despite the fact I have loads of space in my squad. Now I don't have enough first team players to make up a proper bench. Gone on holiday from February to the end of the season, don't see the point in playing when the computer deliberately makes it harder for you with in-built irrational decisions.

Its my first FM game, but I have played plenty of seasons and still cant figure out what does it takes to win the BPL with team that is predicted to finish 5th.
Ive tried different tactics but still cant move from 3rd place. Any advice?
