When players with Aggression 4 put in a two footed slide tackle for no reason when they've been on the pitch for less than ten minutes.

Could they not implement any other way of players getting sent off in this game? I've had about 4 red cards in the first 6ish games of the season. What's the point in hard tackling if that just translates into "deliberately get sent off for no reason" :@

When I'm losing the game decides it doesn't want to give me highlights and skips on the 60 minute mark until 90 minutes.. thanks

I'm always scared of the oppositions first attack,, BECAUSE THEY ALWAYS SCORE FROM IT..

Not really a frustration but more of a funny moment.

2013-14 with Liverpool, won the league (just) and the carling cup, was in the final of the Champions League against Barcelona after a very tough semi-fin against Real Madrid. Gerrard's contract is up on the 31st of May, the final is on the 1st of June. Before I get to offer him a new contract he retires! he doesn't even get to play in the Champions League final. Anyway we went on to win 3-1 thanks to 5-2-1-2 and some beautiful goals from Sigurdsson. On a silar note Carra rejected a contract extension a month later since he wanted to play for another club.

Another stupid thing I've done is forgotten the home grown rule and had to go back a few months in my game because I couldn't advance due to lack of home grown squad members, my bad.

I think it's great every that if you play away from home, no matter the opposition they will play like barcelona

team meetings are so borked.

I passionately told the team that I was happy with being in 2nd place and that we will push for promotion...

3 players react badly, none positive.

I ask captain, he says yea we can do it!

1 player reacts badly

I ask room, Vice Captain disagrees with captain

2 players react badly

at this point I'm ******, so I thought I'd agree with my vice captain and his followers to boost their morale.

all players react horribly, average morale drops from very good to fairly poor.

...

I'm done with the team meetings for FM12, just doesn't seem fully implemented or useful.

This made my day. Genius.

My striker is ahead of the last defender dribbling towards the goal, the last defender then takes out my striker in the area. I'm expecting a red card and a penalty, what do I get? My striker gets taken off by the first aiders and then is made to walk back to the referee to receive a yellow card for diving, he then walks back off the pitch and then I have to substitute him off. He is now out for 3 months!!!

Doing the pentagon challenge with Gold Coast, and at the start of the season the board gives me a AUD$50k per week wage budget, which is fine because the salary cap is $47k per week. So I rightly spend that budget on Marquee players, knowing that there is plenty of money in the bank, then for no reason at all, the budget gets cut to $32k p/w and I have an extra $1.5M transfer budget. No problem right? Wrong. The board doesn't let me change the budgets due to the salary cap and I've been spending $48.5k p/w on wages. Fortunately, I've been performing above expectations in the league, so my alleged 'fiscal incapabilities' won't get me sacked right now but the squad will be brand new next season because I can't even offer contracts to out-of-contract players equal to their current deal...

yea, team meetings are surely borked.

Just tried every single option (reloading save) and each time 4 or more players react badly to what I have to say.

I've had good meetings before, but apparently it has little to do with what you say, but more to do with when you say it.

When you sign a player who needs WP after a season out on loan offer new contract and everything should be fine, works for me when i signed him before and ffor mexican players.

transfer market ruins the game.. tottenham want 150 million for cavani.. 120 million for bale.. pathetic..

They dont want to sell him so they ask for exesive ammounts to stop people bidding, its not pathetic.

Seeing as I'm new around here I'll post a few things that i've never quite understood (maybe not strictly fm2012, been playing since Champ Man > fm2005)

Offering a contract to a free agent who then goes on to ask for double what you can offer. Then seeing him go to a similar club on the decline for half the wages he was asking for with less bonuses! Same happens with transfer fees, regardless of being in the same/different league, same reputation or whatever. You'll offer a fair deal, get rejected, another A.I club offers less and the transfer is accepted.

Also giving team meetings, telling the team they've done well and will stay up...a player disagrees and the whole morale of my team is abysmal. Grrrrreat.

Match engine wise the biggest thing is A.I comebacks, sure once or twice a season is fine but my first season in the prem as Charlton I think the A.I came back in 8 or so games, literally I couldn't hold a 2 or 3 goal lead - even if I was leading by the 75 min mark. My fault? Sure, I could take a striker off, bring on a DMC/DC, waste time, play defensive...still the A.I come back. Keep things the same...A.I come back. Go for broke and attack...A.I come back. Using 3 different set ups my team were comfortable in.

We've all been there...those games you KNOW you'll lose. A player with a long shot stat <10 drilling a 30 yard shot in, or one with a FK stat of 10 curling a ball up and over your wall into the top corner. Or a 5'5 winger with a heading and jumping stat under 5 beating your central defenders to head a ball so fast your keeper just stands there. Or your goalkeeper fumbling a easy shot and so on.

Also being forced to play a younger/back up player and every single goal the A.I exploit him somehow, yet the A.I can use a under 18/backup player who plays better than their first option! In one game I had to use Barzagli who I brang in as cover v Stoke. Stoke. Peter Crouch. Yup he bagged a hat trick cuz Barzagli had a heading stat of 8! Shocking.

Injuries/Red cards. I swear to god as soon as one of my players finds a bit of form or if I'm short in one position that player will get injured! It's like once every 3 games somebody is getting a 2+ week injury. I actually played a key game where I lost 2 players to injury in the opening 7 minutes, made a sub at the 60 min mark and lost another player! Or if I'm leading a game comfortably one of my players decides he wants to miss then next few games so two foots a player in injury time getting suspended for a hard run of games (I'm looking at you Gago!!)

If you went back in this thread and also looked at the "what do you want in FM13' thread, you will see me beating this point to death. It drives me absolutely crazy more than anything else in the game. All I want is an explanation as it has been there as far back as I can remember. Why can't the coders get this right? If a player was making 600/wk, why was he asking for 3500/wk from me when my board would only allow 2800/wk and then taking 800/wk from another team in my conference?!?

I guess that is a related gripe from me. Sometimes I will only be like one or two hundred/wk away from what the player wants but my board simply won't let me increase my offer yet they will let me offer double that for another player who is weaker than the one I wanted!

this game annoys me sometimes, as a man u fan iv obv played as man u on fm 12, with valencia, he has been 1 of utds best players since he was signed n hes rated sooo poorerly on fm, hes on got 3 stars on it n the likes of nani who has only a hand full of good games a season is rated much better than valencia!!!!
