I'm getting really annoyed right now, first off I'm on a 30+ undefeated streak winning The EPL and Champion's League twice in 2 years and then all of a sudden a few players morale just plumet from superb to poor for no reason at all. And to top it off last season Nani( after 7 years of dominating most seasons) says he needs a new challenge I can't convince him to say so I sell him according to his wishes to keep him from buggering up the rest of the team's morale and then the board and fans get annoyed at me!! And this season Lucas Moura and Rafeal have done the same thing but I managed to persuade them to stay but it is just ridiculous I get punished for somethin I can'r stop
 
Got Rodwell back after 1 month layoff with hammy injury. Same day he resumes full training his knee gives out. Out for 8 weeks. Proves how realistic the game is I suppose
 
David Beckham is about to score a beautiful free kick and than an offside Danny Welbeck then decides to head the ball out of the box denying Beckham a great goal and giving a free kick to the opposition, so annoying surely he can see it's going in.
 
I know I (we) always talk about having to pay more for players. Let me add this frustration to the list. I recently had found a real gem, after giving him a lot of game time and seeing him develop quickly, he comes to me and says he wants to play for a bigger club. I get this, sure, I can't pay players like everyone else, at 11.25/wk he was one of my highest paid players. So, I put him on the market and make a pretty good sum off of him (2.8M to be exact) and forgot about it for a couple days. Decided to go in and look at how much that "big" club was paying him... 9k/wk. Um...you wanted to make less money? Why didn't you just tell me that and I could've cut your wages?!?!
 
I personally detest when a club makes a serious transfer and then send the new player to the bench for like forever. In my current save Real Madrid bought Kagawa and then they let him play in ~6 matches, mostly in the preseason. Now, he is trying to leave Madrid after 3 years of wasting time. Another example: Milan got Carlos Villanueva for around 8 millions and he hasn't even played one single game! He spent 3 years sitting either on the bench or playing for the Milan's reserves. One more thing, which is not connected with buiyng a new players. I noticed that Barcelona does not use Messi, although he is only 28 years now. In the age of 28 MESSI played 6 games for Barca, furthermore, 4 of them were from the bench. The weirdest thing is that in those 6 matches he achieved around 8.5 avereage rating and they simply keep him away from the first squad. AI is so stupid sometimes.

I'm sick of this predicitble game engine, I really am.

I have a striker who is 49 goals in 34 league games. CL Semi finals I lose the first game away from home 5-3, My defense was no existant.

Second game I score first with this striker who has rarely missed the oppurtunity.

Then he misses a sitter
And another
In goes a goal, wait it's offside.
Oh look, player strikes it, keeper saves, lands at the feet of this player who has an open net. Whats this? He holds the ball and the keeper sprints faster then Usain bolt to tackle him.

Then I score a second, I'm going up. I just know the game engine being against me as it has been, that something will come up.
And there it is, Ball lands at the opposition striker, Surrounded by my CB's and DM, Pops a shot over my keeper into the net. My keeper being on his line doesn't jump at it untill the ball goes in the net.

I hate when it screws me over.. it can at least lube up first.


Then, Striker misses a sitter.
Another goal goes in, Wait it's offside,
Then another sitter.

Mean geese, If I'm going to lose at least don't let my team hammer them to pieces first.

dominating the whole season, become premier league champions with 5 games to go, beating the likes of manu, chelsea, city, liverpool and so on, especially a 7-1 win over liverpool and a 4-1 away win over city in the league, beating paris in the cl quarter finals 5-0 away and then, when it matters, I lose...

FM can be really hard, considering, that lyon missed their very last penalty and graham dorrans just need to put that one in, in order to fullfil our dreams and he misses... the rest is just a cruel story :(

I totally lost my motivation, spent so much time on this save and now really can't enjoy the game anymore...

Does his contract have automatic increases built-in? The initial fee, appearance fees, etc may also mean that his contract is worth more over its life than his original one.

Anyway, just be happy he didn't ask you to subsidise the difference :-)
 
World Cup 2024

Rudy Fervelo (my manager) has been in charge of England for 3 months or so - yet to lose a match.
Pre-tourney friendly against Spain goes great and we win 3-1.

1,2,3 group games through still yet to concede. Topped the group after thrashing Holland and faced Peru in next round. Beat them and still not conceded (pulling a Switzerland lol)

Reached the Semi-Final against Italy, still having not conceded a goal.
Scored early, then controlled the game for 89 minutes - thats right... 89!

England captain Phil Jones (CB), my most reliable defender and a key player, gives away a penalty right at the end of the game and games goes to extra time...

Extra time kicks off and straight away the England captain makes a mistake which lets Italy score as soon as we kick off. From then on it was a struggle to contain Italy and all of our hard work and successes ended up meaning nothing because of one guy - the nation's most hated man!!

3rd game of the season, 45 minutes in and Messi has scored 8 in the league so far, four in this game. He breaks his ankle forcing me to play Cesc as the Trequesta...
 
I am sick of players argue when it was a tackle or header in the box and referees sometimes giving that penalty.I had like a 100 of moments when players argue about that.
 
I had the best assistant manager in my save, Claudio Suarez, working under me for both the club (Man Utd) and nation (Brazil) that I manage. In his last year at the club he refused to even discuss signing a new contract. His contract ran out and he left. I'm still one of his Favourite People, he hasn't moved into management, he just walked out without an explanation.
 
I decided to let the AssMan pick my squad for an upcoming international friendly and he doesn't include A SINGLE GOALKEEPER in his squad and I confirm it not checking the goalkeeper spot... So I ended up holidaying the match against Uruguay and it turns out Rami is pretty good there.
 
Best midfielder on my entire save who also plays for me just injured his cruciate ligaments. Gone for 9 months. Career over.

Happened to me on Arsenal save too. I had about 3 different *** mans who just decided not to accept a contract renewal
 
apologies if this has already been asked...didnt fancy reading thru 144 pages...
why is it so friggin hard to sell players?...fringe, reserves, **** youngsters...ive halved players value, sometimes cut it even more, ive offered players for free with a percentage of sell on...still nothing...driving me nuts!...i need to get rid to get some transfer coffers and cut wages
any tips?
